Hi everyone, I'm after some thoughts and suggestions in relation to decoration and entertainment for our seaside wedding.

    Save the dates were postcards
Invitations were in keeping though hard to explain!
    Name places are pebbles
Kids favours will be mini buckets filled with sweeties
Food is fish and chips followed by cream tea
Centre pieces will be something involving sand/shells though haven't decided 100% yet

I am trying to think of what decorations to have and I'd also like something out in the grounds to keep people entertained.

We are hoping to have one of those cardboard stick your head through boards but I'm not sure what else would fit in with the theme (Cornish seaside). Any ideas?

Also I was thinking of having some deck chairs in the grounds and hoping to bring some sand in but there is a problem with stopping the sand going every where. We are no where near the beach but I want to feel like we are if possible!

Any ideas what might fit in? My budget is very limited, had hoped for an inflatable helter skelter but that is a lot more expensive than I expected. I'm not keen on beach huts or star fish.

    Many thanks in advance!!

Hi Vikki, sounds like you have a lot of down already!

How about a Punch and Judy show?

For the sand can you not put it in a container like a large paddling pool or something?

You could have bunting as decorations, possibly get some cheap bucket and spades to dot around the place?

Have you looked into how much a bouncy castle is?

Coconut shire stall, hook a duck, deckchairs, flip flops, ice creams, sea shells as decorations, sand pit for a sandcastle comp, surfboards, list is endless!

Hi, I was originally going to have a seaside theme :D I love the idea

There are some lovely mason jar table centrepiece ideas which are quite simplistic :)
Rather than having normal deckchairs why not try and hire one or two of the massive ones like they have at holiday parks? I think that would be a great idea for photos.
What about hiring a Icecream van too?
If there is enough room maybe you could have beach ball where the sand is or provide frisbees if you don't have much room?
Are you providing wine or any other alcohol? If so why not have the alcohol in ice coolers like you would take for a day on the beach?
I would keep the decorations quite simple to be honest.. bunting is alays lovely.
For the children what about getting seaside themed colouring books or having an arts and crafts table where they can make necklaces/bracelets out of shells?

    Xx
