    Hi girls

I have booked my big day for August 11th this year for a registry office, have been engaged for 6 years and have 3 beautiful little girls, as you can imagine my budget is rather small. I have always wanted a huge wedding day, do you think it is acceptable to go all out in reg office, big dress, my girls as bridesmaids and also my sister, we won't be having cars or proper photographer, but I still want a few of my dreams to come true other than marrying my prince charming ;)
Really hope to get some of your opinions x x

I think you can do what you like just check the width of the aisle before getting a huge dress as when my mum married in a registry office it was very narrow!
otherwise go for it, its your special day and the pictures will look great even without a proper photographer, good luck

Hi and welcome. You can absolutely have the day you want in a registry office. We are also on tight budget and are managing to get just about everything we want. x

Hello and welcome to the site!
I would wear a big dress no matter where Iwas getting married, so in short, YES, wear the big dress, do all the things you can (within budget) and enjoy your day

I see no problem with going for the whole shabang if you are having a registry office do, its what we're doing. We're still having some things casual (h2b didn't want to wear top hat and tails :( boo.) but I'm still having the amazing dress and bridesmaids (admittedly wearing home-made dresses but that doesn't make them any less special).
Go with what you want, no matter how small your budget you can still make it your dream wedding!

Go all out! Why the heck not.. Just because its in a registry office and not a fancy hotel doesnt mean you cant have the dresses you have dreamed off. Keep a eye out of the bay for bargains..
