well since monday i have started cuttin down on the ciggies, i am now down to 4-5 a day from nearly 20! hopefull next week i can cut them out all together!

i really hope i can do it, normally when i try i just stop but only last a couple of days so hopin this way it will work, n even better thing is h2b is tryin to too, so i wont have him around smokin as much x

this way is bound to work better by cutting them out u dnt get the urge to often and when ur down to just a couple itll be more habit that addiction and u should just stop :) xx

well done! I am into my 2nd month now of not smoking. (apart from when I am drunk, all sense goes out the window then!) I found the niquitin mini lozenges a god send when I first stopped. When you start getting a craving, or getting the rage on, you just pop one under your tongue and feel it all soothe away! Another thing i found helped with thinking of me at my wedding, in my beautiful dress having to sneak out back for a ciggie! Urgh. A bride with a fag in her hand. GREAT picture!

We are trying to quit too, we've gone from 15 a day to only 4-5 a day. I smoke less when he isn't here (like when he's at work) for instance he just left for work so I might have 1 maybe 2 between now and me going to bed later. I don't like the thought of me smoking in my dress and heaven forbid someone singed my dress with a cig. So good luck Steffi x

helpful bagpuss, lol!! it is hard to give up, i gave up for a few weeks, but when me and h2b have fall out and when we had to cancel wedding i went straight for a fag, but the money i could save by not smoking is much more of an incentive to quit than anything else. thinking to myself do i want this packet or do i want some button holes? it helps me not to smoke as much. good luck to you for quitting, you don't need them, but you do need your perfect day! x

Well done on cutting down, I've not smoked for 3 months now but I used the patches and they really helped as a psychological barrier as you're not allowed to smoke while you're wearing them. I'm not even craving fags now, but i really like the smell when I walk past a group of smokers think that's how I get my fix now lol
