Hi I'm new and keep seeing about the power user and was wondering is it worth the £50? And is that or a year? We aren't going o get married for few years so don't want to spend out if it won't come in handy at this point.

    Its NOT 50 hunni???
Power user status is either 2.50 per month OR 20 pound a year..........or FREE once you get 5 gold hearts by talking and using the site! (took me 3 months but I was obsessed lol and I was the 4th EVER power user hehehe, before I became a MOD)
Just to be in with a chance of winning one of the monthly prizes I say it's VERY worth it :-)

I pay the £2.50 a month, Still do actually should probably cancel that now im married lol. But yes it is worth it. Just ask some of the brides who have won things! And you can get discounts for things. However you could always just pay the £2.50 a month build up your points then when you have gold hearts just cancel your subscription as youll get it free! x

I would say that it is worth it. It helps your points build up and you get more chances of winning a prize.

I paid £2.50 per month, but only for 3 months because I was so addicted, I earned my gold hearts really quickly, so in total it cost me £7.50......peanuts.

I aren't paying, mainly because I like talking to the other people on the site, I like asking and giving advice and the hearts are just a bonus :) Plus I have plenty of time to earn them :D x

I didn't pay, and just built up points by chatting on the forum. I joined around late 2009 and it did take a while - but if you're not getting married for 4 years, you've got time to get there (points soon add up).

I done the power user. It was handy at the start when I was needing the extra bits you get, but now I don't think I will be needed to pay for the privilege.

I paid the £2.50 a month untill i got all my gold hearts & then canceled it.

I would of however prefered to pay the £20 for a year though as it must work out cheaper, but i was skint at the time.

I havent yet won anything, but yes i would say its worth a shot just to be entered into draws etc
but then again if your not getting married for a few years then maybe wait untill you have all your gold stars? xx

I think it is worth it. I paid £20 for the year which is the equivalent of about five bridal magazines. For my £20 I get all sorts of discount benefits, a chance to win a prize every month and a hundred extra entire into the annual win acwedding competition. Plus the odds of winning a prize on here are much better than the lottery and many ppl will easily spend more than £2.50 per month on them.

It's personal choice but in my opinion it is worth every penny x
