Im looking for a photographer around bristol, who could do some nice formal shots on our wedding day as cheap as poss! Otherwise im going to have to ask a family member to try and take some. Any ideas?

Having the same problem. i am in dorset and i'm finding that photographers are so expensive at them moment. I know they come and take loads of photo's but they only put the onto a cd (the ones i have phoned do) so you don't actually get the photo's unless you get them printed yourself and to me that just seems like a waste of money! We want really nice photo's but not at that cost, so we might have to ask the family yet. It's so frustrating i think, hope you manage to get something sorted. Just wish i could. xx

sorry, the only person I know of that did my sil2b's photo's was over £600. Why not try some of the local colleges or Uni's for students? That's what I was thinking of until a friend of mine offered her husband for the job (wedding's aren't his "thing" but he does brilliant breathtaking scenery photo's)

Try Sophie Pierre, i'm pretty sure she does Bristol. She does south west and london. We had our pre-wedding shoot with her last week and she is amazing, if you go on her blog (just type Sophie Pierre Blog into any search engine) you can see what she can do.
Not sure what her prices are like but she's definatley worth it :)

Meant to add i'm pretty sure she does tailored packages, were having her from morning to the mean for £950 i think which is expensive but she might be worth a look :)
if you ARE interested in who my sil2b had it's sarah-p photography, just google it. She has info about prices, starting at £500 and she does do briliant photo's!
