Im in a bit of a panic..... I've had my dress since December 2014 and it's been stored in a proper wedding dress bag, hanging in my LOs room.
He doesn't touch or open the bag and nor have I for a while. So we've just been cleaning his room and I have moved the dress bag to our room......
I had a sneaky look and I have noticed like dirt marks on the lace bodice

It's hard to see on the picture but there are a few of these and with just over a year to go, I'm not sure what to do about this as I don't want more to develop!! Is it down to the storage do you think?? Can I gave my dress cleaned (professionally) before my wedding??
I'm so scared that my dress is going to be ruined!!

Right, best thing to do is to stop panicking to start with and once you e done that, call your dress shop for advice and go from there! Panicking won't help solve so try and relax and work out a solution :)

As O&B suggested, call your bridal shop you got the dress from and ask them for advice, they will be able to help you with getting it clean, and do it sooner rather than later before the stains stay put.
Thanks ladies..... She is shut now but I'll ring her Tuesday and see what she says. I'm off in a couple of weeks so can always pop over with it. It doest look like mould but it seems to be on the edges of the lace flower embroidery..... Really don't want my dress to be ruined xx

Oh no I hope the lady can help.
I was told to store mine in the dress bag but have the zip of the bag pulled down a little to let air circulate. Not sure if this might help. X

I've had another peep this afternoon and unless your looking at it closely you can't see it but I know it's there so I'll pop it up in a couple of weeks and see what she says x
