Hello ladies,
It's such a simple question but its driving me mad because I can't decide what to do, I will be wearing peep toe shoes so I was wondering how should I paint my toenails as obviously some of my toes will be on show?
My colour scheme is cadbury's purple, would it be too harsher colour to have on my toes? Do I have something to match my fingernails instead, as I will be having a french manicure, or do you think this will be too light against ivory satin shoes?
Arghhh too many decisions to make!

Oh and while i'm here another question, i'm getting married in July (hot weather...hopefully) do you think I should still wear hold ups, or go bare legged?

If you are wearing pep shoes then no tights or hold ups... needs to be bare legs as you will see the tights through the pep.

I think it will look quirky having purple toes but will also look nice matching your finger nails. I dont think anyone is really going to see your toes unless you pull your dress up so purple would look cute xxx

I'm having a crystal pedicure. They are really pretty and last for ages. I'm having mine so I have pretty toes for my honeymoon too :-) xx

You could have something like Minx, they are patterned foils, there are some lovely designs that would look fab peeping out of your shoes :-) x

Thanks ladies I wasn't sure about the hold up's so glad you have sorted that one out for me. Yes JennaLouise my dress is long so I suppose people wont really see but I think they may get a flash of them occasionally, just don't want to look silly and I knew you ladies would give me some good advise.

I'll be painting mine a deep, bright pink, as it's my toe-nail varnish colour of choice :-) Won't match anything, but won't clash either (fingernails will prob be french manicure).

So, I say go for purple, or possibly something more traditional like pink/red if you think it will look too dark. I think having a little bit of colour will look really nice and fun :-)

Yep, I'd say definitely go with purple nail varnish, will look fab against your ivory shoes and go well with your theme. No stockings or hold ups though, mind you, that's a personal choice! x

Thank you ladies, I think I am heading towards having them painted in cadbury's purple, have definitely decided on the bare legs though. Glad I have got you ladies to ask these questions and because your so good at answering them I have another...

I was going to wear a basque to cover up my mummy tummy, but do you think it's too much to have under a wedding dress that has a structured bodice already?
I have noticed a lot of ladies have said they are just wearing bras or nothing.

i vote purple toenails and no stockings! I'm also wearing peep toes and, were I wearing ivory shoes I'd be having a colour to match my theme, but my shoes are hot pink so I'm just going to go for a nude shimmery colour. And definitely no stockings :o)
