    Hi Ladies,

So I've been VERY picky when it comes to dresses, nothing seemed to be right.

Yesterday I went to try on some HD dresses & today it's got me thinking that these could be what I'm looking for....you can pretty much have what you like.

So...has anyone brought one or thinking about buying one? They really are expensive so I need to be sure xx

I think they START at £2k, upto around £4k.

I can budget for that but I don't know if I'd want to spend that amount for a dress that I'll wear for a day....they are beautiful though.

    Dilemma :( xx

however if you can afford it then go for it!!!

sorry not much help i know

Thanks :). I will go & have a look at AA website...if they look the same I don't see the point in spending the extra?

Wow! I thought Madeline Isaac-James was expensive compared to others, the dress I'm in love with at the moment and could be "the one" possibly is £1550.

There are some beautiful dresses out there as lovely as the HD dresses without the price tag xx

I dont have a HD, but did spend a lot on my dress, I have an Enzoani and I love it. Looked at cheaper makes and tried to find something similar but nothing compared. I didn't want to spend the amount I did, but as I found looking for a dress so hard and after about 50 shops it was the only one I couldn't stop thinking about...so glad I did now as I love it and cant wait to wear it (think H2B will love it too-which helps!) I went to a designer day and got 10% off...doesn't sound a lot but made a difference. Look to see if HD does Designer Days...it should say on their website :) But like Fern says look for a sample gown, or one someone is selling x x

If it's in your budget and you love the dress, then go for it. My max budget including alterations was 850 so I got a dress by Romantica for 725 and with alterations it was another 60, but I didn't try any dresses outside my budget as I personally couldn't justify the expense on a dress I'd only wear once...

I blew my dress budget because I knew it was THE dress, but I plan on selling it afterwards to recoup some of the cost! If it's the dress you want and you can afford it then why not!?

I only paid £450 for my dress, but was really lucky because my fabulous sister-in-law has a bridal shop and this was a dress that was custom made for a bride who then changed her mind. She had had it customised, as the dress normally has a scalloped neckline and was actually £3500. If you can't justify the cost, why don't you go and try some on and then look for one 2nd hand.
