Ok so I only have 2weeks 3days left to go!!! My minds in over drive, been contacting all suppliers to get confirmations of times etc and make sure everything is running smooth, however I can't help feeling like I've missed something! (pretty sure I haven't) but I have a niggle at the back of my mind and I can't sleep on a nighttime I have everything going round and round in my head did I do this- yes.did I do that- yes.still can't settle though!! Only thing I don't have sorted( apart from things to do the day before-collect suits cakes etc) is something old and something borrowed,no one has anything to give me or borrow me! Any ideas? Anyone else so close to the big day? If so please tell me I'm not the only one feeling like this! X

Can't imagine how I'll feel that close,considering how I feel now with 5 months to go compared to when I came bk on here with 22 months to go and it's gone so fast even since then x

Hasn't anyone got some jewellery you can borrow? Or a garter? Would be helpful if it was old jewellery so you kill 2 birds!! I'm sure you haven't forgotten anything, take a deep breath and try and look forward - exciting times :-D xx

I think I'm going to borrow a hair grip or something else that can be hidden, as my outfit is complete. My something old is the cross I was given when I was christened. Have you got something from your childhood that you could incorporate?

i have 9 days left to go and i just wish all the little things were sorted now. im a little worried that i might have forgotten something but i think im pretty organised and everyone always says if you have forgotten about it it couldnt have been that important in the first place lol. im not nervous yet and im sleeping completely fine - just a little worried that it will all kick in next week and feel really real and ill panic lol. ive found that making a final list of all the little things has really helped me and i try and get everything ticked off as soon as i can.
as for the something borrowed and old, i am borrowing one of my moms rings and something of my grandmas (maybe a brooch to attach to my flowers) as my something old as she died 3 years ago.
I hope you feel better soon! the only thing i can think of that is keeping me so calm is that my mom brought me an amethyst crystal bracelet after my hen do which i have been wearing for the past 3 weeks - they recommended it for a bride to be to keep away stress and keep me calm lol x
Wow 9 days! I don't think I'll even be calm enough to type with only 9 days left! Lol I've nothing old only a gold necklace with an old coin on my nannan gave me that used to be hers when I was little I used to sit on her knee and twiddle it and say I wanted it when she died! Aren't kids horrid they don't realise lol but she gave it me for my 18th birthday but for the past 8years it's been in her safe as I darent take it out or wear it! It's so precious I would be petrified of losing it or breaking, plus it wouldn't go with my wedding dress or colours as it's all silver and it's a gold chain with big coin on.
So need more ideas!
I would put a broach or something on my bouquet but no ones got one for me lol I'm stuck now!
Apart from that I'm done and dusted,other half asked me why I needed to take the day off work the day before the wedding! He wasn't joking either! He said he doesn't see how I can't work that day.because invisible fairies will come collect our cake and drop it off at venue, and collect his and his bestmans suits,and pack bags for our honeymoon,and go hand in the table plan and favours, oh and then the fairies will come to my work and do my nails and waxing then when I finish work I can just sit on the sofa with my feet up! Haha what planet is he on!!! I work 6days a week ,1 day off is hardly going to hurt! X

I don't think so Sarah I only have a small family (mum,step dad,nan,and then all great aunts n uncles which I rarely talk to) I might look on 3bay,get someone to buy an old sixpence for me then me borrow it and give it them back? Would this work? Lol cheating x

sounds like you are very organised you will be fine. im just waiting for it all to hit me but i bet it wont happen until i get in the car to go to the church. i thought i would be so much worse with 8 days left lol. yeah borrow a sixpence from someone that would work x

Maybe you could just borrow any coin and hide it away somewhere. I'm sure someone would lend you a pound for the day. Then you could buy an old coin from the bay. You could put them in the middle of your bouquet maybe.

Ive got 6 weeks to go hun and im starting to panic so ur definitely not the only one!
Best thing I did was to create a list and cross things off as things got done.
One thing I didn't do was create a list of who still needs paying so I still get a shock when I get an email saying "x needs to be paid for in the next 3 days" lol
Im sure all will be fine on the day, and if anything is missed off ur the only one who will know!
