Going though the site of pins we came across this... Wife is hooked on them and now has her heart set on it.. She then also wants a burger van.. donut van oh and not to forget a waffle bar either haha
Anyone been to a wedding with something similar? How well did it go down? Is it something you'd Consider?

I've not been to a wedding that had something similar but I think it's a fab idea! The only thing is making sure you cater for everyone, so not everyone might like mexican food.. but you could always have various different 'stations' :) xx

I think that is how we would go with all the various things she wants. I've been told if i cant get her a burger van then we must do a burger bar in a similar style haha.
Ive never seen anything like this set up.. haven't been to many weddings so tbh we haven't even seen a sweetie bar either.
Haha Emily.. i cant stand them either but she would have them for breakfast lunch and dinner if she was allowed pmsl :(

you could do it instead of an evening buffet perhaps? so have all the different 'bars' set up around the room for people to pick at?

I definitely like the idea of having different bars set up around the room :) there will be a wide choice then to keep everyone happy and it's also something a little different to your standard wedding buffet. I personally love nachos (and most other food!) so it would be a hit with me xx

My biggest worry is feeding everyone, A sit down meal really isn't US and our families would just feel uncomfortable so Buffet style food is really the way forward with us.
I do like the idea of having different bars for each kind of food i think that would work with maybe a cold buffet in the middle of the mayhem. Some people must think we are so weird! x

I love this idea, the only thing you might find is that it will cost so much money to have alot of different caterers (aka food stations), unless you go the diy route, or find 1 caterer that is willing to do lots of different items.

I like this idea too and I love nachos but id be worried about the people who don't like that type of thing and stuff going to waste then there's the cost, but if its what you want and what you can afford go for it xx

We would have to DIY it to keep costs down. Quote for the waffle bar was near on £500 for 100 guests which isnt too bad but when we wont have that many eating them i wouldnt want their to be left overs as such. Wasting money grieves me i'm a proper bargain hunter.

We have looked at cake ideas (I of course will be making) Having a half & half so half all white and girly other half in Leicester Tiger colours... then thinking i will be mini cakes too so that is going to need a table of its own already OOPS!

Hi Jem yer the street food went down fabulous and because there was a few different stations it meant most people were catered for. It was also a bit of a talking point as something different at a wedding x

I did suggest a Festival/Carnival but we are having our Reception at our favourite Rugby Ground so it instantly put her off.

Thanks hun! Hoping that after planning our CP i should be able to cope with this one but who knows? Already stressed out and i still have well over 3 years to go.

I've been to a wedding where they had a crepe bar and that was awesome. They could do savory ones with cheese and mushrooms etc and then sweet ones with strawberries and chocolate etc. It was so good! X
