My mum has a Jaques Vert suit with a fancy fascinator. My son got married last year and I wore a fab hat! I love hats myself but I think it's a personal preference but for me it's hats all the way! :O) XXX

I think if my mum and h2b's mum wears anything it will be fascinators, I know my mum isn't keen on hats, but it is down to personal preference and what your mum would prefer to wear and feel comfortable in.

its personal choice but i always say not many people wear hats to weddings and its nice for the MOB AND MOG to wear hats to make them feel special and stand out so people know who they are. the more rare it is for people to be wearing hats the more i would like my mum to wear one lol!xx

At sil2b's wedding, 1 mum wore a hat but ended up taking it off cos it was bothering her, and 1 wore a fascinator that she said was really comfy and kept it on all day. x

i have told my mum that she will be wearing something in her hair but depends what suits her and again down to personal prefereance some people dont suit them or find them to heavy. i have requested that all my girly guests wear some form of fasinator as me and h2b would like glammour and get every one dressed up posh frocks etc.
MIL2B went to a wedding last year and i saw the piccies and she is wearing a hat that can only be descibed as a dead crow it was hideous (hope she doesnt get that out the closet for our wedding lol) xx

ok im having a bridezilla moment lol my mother is NOT wearing a hat!!!!!!!!!! hats dont suit her and she has joked about wearing one but nah uh no way lol she can have a fascinator lol i think if hats suit an individual then go for it, but don''t wear one just because it is what people see as the 'norm' for weddings!!

Ooooh that is such a good question. I always visioned her wearing one at my wedding so have been looking for the most amzing hats for her (and outfit) and never actually thought to ask her if she wanted to pmsl. DOH! Think it would be totally kewl if she does, a big hooooge thing, with flowers and feathers hehehehe.
