whats everyone doing for make up and hair? Last time i got married I did my own and had a mobile hairdresser do my hair,this time I want it done properly! I want false eyelashes too and I cant put the damn things on!!
Most quotes Ive seen are around £100 and sometimes another 30 or 40 for trial.shocked!

I'm having mine done by a lady who only does wedding hair and make-up. Paid £25 for trial, paying £65 for hair on day and £25 for make-up. x

The guy I'm having for hair charges £55 per hour and the makeup artist charges £35. Will find out how long it will take after the trial but I think the prices are the same for that, cx.

Im doing my own make up(Went in to hof) Had a bridal lesson and she shew me how to apply everything (I have no idea when it comes to make up lol) For my hair i payed £35 for a trial and its £65 onthe day including call out charge as its a sunday and there normally closed x

My usual hairdresser is coming to my house cos I get married on a Monday and her shop is closed Monday otherwise I would have gone to the shop. I'm doing my own makeup cos the quotes I've had are to expensive apart from my local nail salon told me about a lad who works there and does your makeup and lashes for £20.00. I'll have to see how the moneys flowing nearer the time.

I think I paid about 200 euros not completely sure what that is in pounds but that was for hair, makeup, acrylic nails & toenail polish.. This included hair & makeup trial with two women! X

I am having my nails,eyelashes and make up trial and make up on the day for £70 and she will come out to my house on the day to do my make up. Am having a spray tan a few days before.
Last time i got married i did my hair and make up myself. My H2B wanted me to feel special and pampered.
And im going to the salon to get my hair done with my BM. My trail cost £25. And £50 on the day and my BM hair are £25 on the day.!!
My make up trial is on friday so looking forward to that.. Think i might try glam

My usual hairdresser is gdoiny my hair trial, my hair on the day, plus 3 bridesmaids all in for £120 :) i am going to a department store to get a make up makeover, buying the nice products and my mum who is a make up artist will be applying my face for me. xxx

I would have a word with your local college or even beauticians. My aunt is a beautician and has just started doing individual lashes and all the family are being guinea pigs, she's had all the formal training so they look amazing she just needs practice so it takes her around 3.5 hours instead of 2. But once she is up to speed she will be charging around £100!

I'm getting hair and makeup with individual lashes done. Booked the same lady who did us all for my sisters wedding, she is amazing, she does London Fashion Week and because she's done my makeup before I know how good she is. She charges £120 for my hair, makeup and individual lashes and £30 per BM (£10 extra if they want the lashes too), so £200 plus £80 for my trial. Will get my uncle to do our hair as again he did amazing job on our hair at my sisters wedding although hair is included in my price.

Makeup lady may be expensive but she is worth every penny :D

one of My BMs is a hairdresser, she's doing it for free (I hope, I am feeding her that day, and that's normally all she charges me lol!!)
My cousin is a make up artist, I'm hoping she will do it for me but I won't have chance for a trial before hand as she lives so far away. But we'll see, a lot of people I know have gone to department stores and had trials, so I might still do that yet!
