    Sounds fabulous.

I have only had my make up 'done' once before and I looked like the 'artist' had applied it whilst wearing a back to front balaclava!

    lol eeeek...not good.

    She is great.
Im not sure what areas she covers but I think it's up and down the M4 corridor. Have a look on ***** under Wales.
She really was fantastic. Im not really a make up person and I made Heidi very aware of that. She listened and took control in a really relaxed and calming way and turnd me into a godess!Hee hee. Very soft but beatiful make up!!
    She is amazing

I know this is an old thread, but decided I'd better look up Mac makeup artists before starting a new thread and getting told off lol!! My friend is paying for me to have a makeover tomorrow at the 'mac' shop in Nottingham and if I like what they do I am thinking of asking them to do my wedding makeup. Has anyone else used a 'Mac' artist for their wedding day?? Would you recommend them??

I emailed Mac website asking which false eyelashes to go for as they got so many i had no idea, i got a reply back telling me which ones to go with & a detailed email on how to put them on, im impressed, i decided to buy them and go with out Blink & go which i have booked at a salon (but will now cancel) alot cheaper too, just a shame there isnt a mac counter in my town so i could get a trial makeup with them. xx

i was condidering it but my hair dresser is also a make up artist so will give him a shot first. Hes in the top 3 hair dressers in cheshire so fingers crossed hes half as good with make up. Lets see how he does or MAC may be getting a call

Well my makeover went really well the other week and the results looked lovely. My friend took some photos of me in my makeup so I can show the person who does my wedding makeup what sort of thing I want/like. The staff often do freelance work for people, and will come to your house on the day of your wedding. The woman who did my makeover said she would be happy to come to me on my wedding day, however I also have a friend who has been waxing my legs for years (lol) and I have found out she does wedding makeup too. I am tempted to ask her as I know her really well and would feel very relaxed with her :-). I think she will also be cheaper!

i am really nervous about having anyone do my make up as the skin around my eyes looks like i have been punched an left with saucer sized black eyes lol. it has taken me a while to learn how to cover it so its barely noticable.

i cannt wear alot of make up as im allergic to most of it but the stuff i do wear should be ok and luckily i have fairly good skin most the time apart from when im stressed so im sure my skin will be a real mess nearer the time

Lol, I'm the Same purpleme - I have eczema and any stress makes it flare up!! I rarely wear makeup normally so I hope it will be fine on the day.

I've purchased my 'everyday' make up from MAC after a makeover 15 months ago...it's amazing and I will use it to do my own make up on the Big Day. You can learn alot from YT so is saving me a lot of money. I may end up doing Bridesmaids and MOB/MIL2B's make up on the day too because I've got the stuff and it will save us money! Jo x
