Picked our seating plan up tonight. It's been written on an old mirror with a permanent glass pen by a lady that does calligraphy.

These pics don't do it justice cos it's beautiful! She's put little diamantes and pearls in between the names on the top table too.

That looks fab Sonya! I'm planning to do something similar, I'm hoping that lady who's doing our invites will do little cards that I can stick on the mirror. Mind you I'm worried that the mirror I've bought might be a bit big lol, it's 3ft 2in x 2ft 2in! Xx

We searched calligraphy groups in the area and got a few contacts but most were charging a lot! In the end I found my lady at a wedding fair, she only charged £80

It's permanent so we will hang it in our dining room after the wedding

When I was younger, I was given a calligraphy set so I will be doing invitations etc myself. I'm sure you could get a calligraphy set that you can practice with...
