Hi there, Just wondering if there are any other Lincolnshire Brides-to-be out there? I'm battling to find a wedding venue ... Looking for something intimate - around 35 people. I don't know the area all that well as I moved here from South Africa just under two years ago. Any ideas would be much appreciated. Thank you :-)

I live in Scunthorpe, but we also struggled to find something on our doorstep and have chosen Stallingborough Grange (Between scunthorpe and grimsby..) Perfect for us and would suit and intimate sized wedding... x
CommentAuthorslashingsmile
theres also brackenborough or the ashbourne hotels, or for somit really swish theres forest pines in scunthorpe! I hav a collegue whose havin his reception at one of the local breweries really cheap, and the beers free!

I've been to most of these places with the Fair, but never took any notice as to what they were like. I work for G.Pearson & Sons Fun Fairs, and we mainly travel Lincoln, Scunthorpe, Louth, etc. Then I help a few other showmen, who travel a wider area, Sheffield, Leeds, London, Southampton, Manchester. xx

I agree with ali about normanby hall, been to a couple of small weddings there, it really is lovely. Good food too. They do a package for 2k that inc everything except a room for the night as they dont have those facilities. Set in beautiful grounds too. Im from scunny too btw. Nice to see some more on ere xx

Glad to see so many fellow b2b's from grimsby and cleethorpes on here. Millfields hotel in grimsby offers a good package and its not too large to feel empty for an intimate amount of people x
