    so the priest last year said he wasnt sure how much church would be, so i was like ok and i put £400 on my spreadsheet n expected more for organist! but nope i asked 2nite its £250 everything in!!! bargain lol

    Great. My mum rang up for me last year to see how much the church would cost and it was around the same price as that. They said that's everything in for that price, but my mum didn't think to ask what everything was.

    Well my priest blew me away when he said his services were free! We only have to pay for the legal papers which I think are about £30, but he did say he only had one other wedding booked in between now and April next year, what a shame! I think CofE churches are really expensive!

    What type of a chruch are you getting married in? I was told that currently the legal side of things is £341 ish without anything else so im amazed that its that little. Great if it is but i would love to know how.

    My first wedding was in a Catholic Church in 1997 and all we had to pay was a contribution to the church and nothing else
    also the women who decorate the church did all our flowers which of course were left ready for the mass the following day
    The church I am getting married in this time is my local CofE as that is my religion and it's costing £465 which includes the organist and someone to tidy up after the service.
    £250 is a bargain

    I have finally found my soulmate
