We have two rooms booked for the night before the wedding at the venue, a suite for us and miss 2 year old and a room for our older girls. Our suite is lovely, four poster bed etc and we'd really like to stay there together the night before and h2b run off in the morning..... Im not supersticious but my family are horrified at this and insist we must be seperate..... what are your thoughts and what would you do?

Its your choice. If you are going to both be in the hotel together, you may as well sleep in the same room!

The castle only has 20 rooms and we're hosting a dinner for everyone on the night before so we will both be there and I sleep better with him, lol, pathetic as it sounds!

Do whatever you feel is right for you. You know your relationship and if your not supersticious really there is no reason why you shouldn't. I on the other hand have to salute magpies, never walk under ladders or sit backwards on trains and avoid 3 drains like the plague... so I'll be sleeping on my own lol x

I think it's a personal choice & if you'd like to spend the night before together then go for it!

We've decided to spend the night apart, but that's just what we want. You just have to do what you feel comfortable with! x x x

It's definitely a personal choice - I'm yet to hear of anything bad happening to a couple who spent the night before the wedding together. If it's what you want then do it.

Not sure if I'll be spending the night before with Ross but that's down to practicality and not superstition

    It's right what they say
"The course of true love never runs smoothly"
But if it had been easy then we wouldn't love each other as
much as we do right now - 1 week to go :D

My parents spent the night together. They also went to the church together and have been happily married for 20 years now. My dad even helped my mum pick her dress

We're gonna be spending the night together unless we do a room swap with my best friend and her bloke cos we'll be in Vegas in a hotel. I think what we'll do is spend the night together and we're not planning on having the wedding till about 6ish at night so its a bit cooler so the day will be me preparing with my friends and H2B will prob spend the day in the bar, lol.

I'd love to spend the night before with h2b but we're having separate rooms. We've booked 2 rooms that have another room joined onto them so my CBM will be next to me and his BM will be next to him.

Vegas in H2B's dream. He has no family, both parents have died and he is an only child so seems the way to go with friends. My family are happy for that. mum is having kids when we go and then when we come home we are having a blessing and christening of 3 of the kids at the local church for family and friends and a party for all.

We're going to spend the night apart but possibly will be in the same building, haven't worked out the details yet. It's not really because I'm superstitious myself, but I think it's fun to observe the little wedding superstitions/traditions. I'm going to do the something old/new/borrowed/blue thing too!
