hi girls, i'm really struggling to find any comfy bridal shoes that fit me properly. I've got really wide feet (eee) and i'm not loving any of the shoes! I was just thinking about maybe wearing converse and blinging them up with diamantes. Is anyone else doing this? I want to feel comfy all day and not hobbling around in heels later on ;)

i'm thinking of getting purple sparkly ones for later to wear after i've worn my shoes all day,
there is a bride on here who work them all day and also her H2B wore the same ones all day

I am! I have white converse, with the blue 'I DO' stickers on the back. Not sure if I want to bling them up any further yet, but I'll be replacing the shoe laces with actual lace too like on Father of the Bride when he has them made for her. I have a bad back and cant wear heels so it was always going to be converse or similar for me.
You should be able to wear whatever shoes you want! A friend of mine wore New Rock boots to her wedding! So long as you're happy and comfortable, then that's all that matters!

I'm going to be wearing white converse too, I hate high heeled shoes. My maid of honour is going to help bling them up, but not too much! I love converse wear them every day, so don't see why not to on my wedding day, plus I will wear them after on honeymoon etc, so they will not sit around doing nothing after :-)

If you have any friends/relatives etc in the USA you can design your own converse online. Unfortunatley they only ship in the USA I think.

i got white plims from primana £3 and we replaced the laces with organze ribbon, and are going to stick hotfix gems onto them. All our bridal party are doing the same thing. Even just putting ribbon in for laces makes them look MUCH better

CONVERSE!!!! i so wanted to design my own for the day! because its gonna be under my dress and no one will see them! but in saying that money might no stretch to coverse so i might get some slippers! :D or go bare footed i LOVE DANCING and will be up all night :D xxxxxxxxxx
