Hey guys, I left booking the registrar too long and now the only time they have left is 12 or 4pm! problem, we have to have our wedding breakfast before 4pm so that time is too late and because our families have to travel 2hrs to the venue im really worried 12pm is too early! that means people will have to get there for like 11am! Im so stressed, i feel like nobody will make it in time!

My cousin got married at 11am without any trouble.

Also, it means you won't be rushing from the photos to the wedding breakfast to the evening reception- nice and relaxed.

We are getting married at 12.30.

i know thats early hun, we are having the ceremony at 11.30 am so i am a little worried, but at the end of the day people will make a special effort, even if they have to get early, just to make sure that they are there for your special day : ) so i dont think anyone will mind xxx

*is this a good point to use MrsP as a example that booking BIG parts of the wedding can never be too early?!*

We're getting married at 12, so I don't think it's too early. The hairdresser is coming at 9, so leaves plenty of time for me and everyone else to get ready and get there!

I think it will be fine honey, your day will be relaxed without the added pressure of getting rushed around into your evening reception. Ours is at 1:30 so will give a break between day and evening x

we were thinking around 12 as well but its really early for us as there is so many kids to organize as well as ourselves.. lol so we are going for 4pm. we are having an evening reception instead of the sit down meal so it suits us better... Make the most of your day and make it as long as possible.. :)

I never thought of been able to enjoy our wedding day longer, I was more worried about my guests, it turns into trying to please every one else instead of ourselves doesn't it? x

I'm getting married at 12pm too, I really wanted 2pm but couldnt get it. I was worried about it at first but I'm sure it will all work out I'm staying at my venue the night before which will save me an hours travelling time. MIL wasnt too impressed tho! She said "OH MY GOD!!!, how am I going to get ready in time?" I thought this was a little selfish of her. My Mum and other relatives were not phased by it at all and they have further to travel. And as others have already said we can make the most of the day without being rushed through everything.

12:00 is a good time to get married, that way you wll have a relaxed wedding breakfast. were getting married at 12:30pm and i was worried that it was to early but since were having a catholic wedding it will take over 45 mins so by the time we get to our venue it will be perfect time for the meal! xx

    12 is fine - I do a lot of weddings at 12.

In fact it's quite nice because it means the afternoon is pretty relaxed.

If your photographer is around, get him to spend some time with just the two of you - great opportunity to do some funky stuff

I think 12pm is fine, people who are travelling to your wedding will be fine with it, I think most people expect weddings to be an all day thing anyway. Don't stress hun x x x
