we are having a bride and groom topper but not a traditional one it will be made of lego, H2B and i are obsessed with the stuff since having our little girl and its our little bit of personalisation to our cake. x

H2B picked our one, coz he is a biker its the bride and groom on a motor bike (pic on profile) the shop i got it from had loads of different ones, there was where the bride had a fishing poll and had hooked her groom, one where the bride was wearing the trouser and the groom had his suit on but no trouser, which i thought was really good, can see if i can find the link for u if u want to have a look xx

we wanted our initials in diamantes, but have managed to get ben to say yes to allowing me to have a me to you one! i love me to you bears and if i had it my way the theme would be me to you, but he has stood his ground and said no, but i have managed the cake topper!! got 2 yeaars to try and get some more stuff in there! lol x

Whatever u do, don't do what my 'estranged' cousin did. She had tiers of cupcakes and then on the top cupcake she positioned a 'Willow Tree' ornament on it. U know, the ones u buy from Smart Ideas an Debenhams an places like that!! Looked a bit odd, have to admit.

at my friends wedding, she had a groom and a big sign saying gone shopping as she is always shopping. also saw one where the bride os dragging the groom on his bum, thought that was funny. i want to have our 2 dogs on the top opf our cake, not the actual dogs lol cos they are our babies

Well my whole wedding is almost a me 2 you theme although no blue except the teddies noses and maybe my garter.
Looking for a perfect me 2 you teddy wedding cake topper atm but worried about getting the wrong size/weight.
The days are flying by, can't wait :)

I've seen some really good ones, there are doves under a love heart arch.. There are doves, funny ones, love heart ones, butterfly sparkly flying out ones! I googled "wedding cake topper ideas" and found loads x

If you're creative you can make them, from craftwire and beads off ebay, or you can make them from roll out icing from sainsbury's. Swarovski crystal ones are available too and if you want somehting simple/classic/contemporary you can have roses/petals. If you don't need many you can get free samples from some websites. x

my cake topper is for my h2b. he loves fishing and i got a cake topper of a bride with a fishing rod hooking the groom on the pants and it does look really funny and unusual but its personal to us :) x hope u find one.

I got mine from the internet, she personalises it to the indivdual couple, we had the kids on our topper aswell, pic is on my profile. I will post the link on your wall to her site if your interested or search on google for "just toppers" x

because i am having 4 cakes with the bridges to link them, the highest one is going to have a castle at the top, at the bottom there will be a bride and groom in a carriage and my son in his highchair in the back of the carriage. as it illegal to drive without a highchair. lol xx

We had lego! About 4 weeks before the wedding we had a family meal and my sister in law made us a pre wedding cake - only a little joke cake. She found lego people on ebay and put them on. We were so touched we wanted them on our actual wedding cake. My husband was a big fan of lego (still is) so it worked well - plus the groom had a kilt!
