I am so worried about getting my dress messy, my h2b alway laugh at me and say i need a bib because whenever i eat i always manage to drop something on myself. leaving me to feel like im going to have a multicoloured dress by the end of the night. plus i will be having chocolate fountain. anyone thinking the same if so what are you planning on doing, not eating is out of the question.

Have a joke with it maybe? Buy some huge napkins, or even buy a bib? :P
I think you could make it fun, or just try to be super duper careful. Try not to have extra saucy food, or anything that'll drip, and chocolate fountain, just get your hands covered an not yourself! I do exactly the same as you, but it's fun to use your hands coz then you get to lick them afterwards. :P xxx

    ...you and me both!

Also..concerned re BM's - one in particular is a messy eater...I was thinking of pale colours for them..but it would only take one drop of gravy/wipe of fingers...lol ok I am gonna put them in BROWN frocks...that'll hide any chocolate and gravy drips!

Everyone knows that any new item of clothing I wear is always stained by food in some way or another so I think I may need to wear my wedding dress around the house for a few weeks leading up to the wedding so that I don't stick to tradition by spilling food down me lmao!!

When my dress arrived at my mums house-she cut one of those adverts for adult sized bibs out of a disability aid catalogue and stuck it to the parcel! Don't know what she's trying to imply about me! lol

I always drop food down me. I think I will have to have something and make a joke out of it like others have suggested. I would be up for a fancy wedding bib!!
