I was wondering if anyone had or knows where i can get hold of a short version of pachelbel canon for walking down the aisle too. i spoke to the wedding planner at the hotel im getting married at and she said i wont need much longer than 30seconds but i though if i get it so its 1minuite long i should be safe but cant find one anywhere :( Xxx

This might sound daft, but surely they fade it out as you reach your groom? I have always assumed that, my BMs are walking down first, then me and my dad. It's a short aisle, 1 min 30 secs TOPS for us all to get down there, but we are using the full version of it (same song btw, fab choice!!). Our contact at the venue just told us what how many songs we needed and when they would be played, and has never mentioned that the aisle song has to only last whilst you walk down the aisle. I am almost certain they will fade it out at an appropriate moment! xx

i was thinking about this too! were having one of our best friends to play his electric violin so im just gonna trust his judgement! if all else fails ill break out the ipod! x

Its a beautiful song isn't it! ahhh that's made me feel a bit better that they fade it out. i was starting to panic that i would not be able to find a version short enough and not be able to have it!! Xx

If you need it cut down to 30s you can download Audacity for free which is a music recording/editing software. Open up the song in the program and cut it where you want it cut. :)

She fades out! someone will be sat by the PA system, and fade it out after I get to the groom. I think that will sound nicer, rather than just stopping the music! xxx
