Hi, I really want loose curls for my hair on my wedding day but every time I have tried doing it myself, they fall out after 5 mins (my hair is naturally straight). I put a lot of hairspray on after doing each curl but they still fall out. How can I make my curls last all night?? x x x

kirsty if your getting your hair done for you by a hairdresser they won't be any good if they provide the right stuff but if your doing it yourself listen to princess xxx

I curl my hair quite often, using thinner sections to curl helps as the thicker you do it the heavier it is so the weight of your hair will just pull the curl out. i use the curlers that have a spiral as opposed to the actual tongs they produce tighter curls. using hair spray on the strand of hair before curling also helps (just make sure you use heat protection shampoo to avoid damage to your hair) and sectioning your hair and curling it layer by layer. hope this helps x

You can buy products that you put into damp hair to help with creating curls. Try curling with hair straighteners, they get hotter. Then cool blast it to hold the style before spraying it with a good hairspray.

My curls usually fall out too even when used nearly a whole can of hairspray. Then I put my hair in rollers for a 40's theme do and at the end of the night took the rollers out and when woke up hair was still just like when I took rollers out.

Have you tried spraying your hair before you curl it too?

Get your section, wrap around tong, spray and the spray all your hair afterwards too!!!
