I didnt know if theres any way you could put a loop in so it could be tied to the ties from the corset back somehow....I'm sooo rubbish at things like this lol x

hi hun,i had a little hook and cotton eye made for mine, the hook was at the bottom of the lace up detail on the inside so you couldnt see it,the eye was made using strands of simular coloured cotton placed half was up my train, which again wasnt visable, the effect was beautifull as it showed of the beading on my train
Hi, hun i have two ribbons sewed inside the dress at the bottom of my zip, i have then put a ribbon loop down the back seam under my train, all i have to do is tie the hoop up with the ribbons and it pulls it up and under, works really well and is secure, hopw this helps x

This is one thing i had with my dress! I have a long train and didnt know how to hook it u, but did have a arm thing (but dont really like them). My theme is butterflies so ive had 2 appliques beaded and stitched on. There is a pic in my dresses album (though that is the top butterfly). The bottom one my dressmaker has stitched and reinforced the butterfly antenna's (Sp?) together to form a hook, and tere is a button on the bottom of the corset on the inside. I just put the antenna loop round the button and it stays strong and in place. It looks lovely when the dress is up and sits flush with the bottom of the rest of the dress. I didnt want to loose the beauty of the dress by having it over my arm.
I know butterflies may not be your thing (its my theme and reminds me of grandad so will have him walking down the aisle with me :D) but you can get loads of appliques off ebay and do something similar.

Check it works ok before the day, my daughter got married last year and when we tried to hook her dresss up the eye was too small and wouldnt go over the little button they had sewn on so she couldnt use it x

A dress I fell in love with once had a long train but it had button detailing right down the back and down the train it had a pattern of 3 buttons then a butterfly etc etc half way down the train there was a discreet but strong loop, you could pin the train to the back of the dress and it lifted it so as it looked as if the back of the dress was just pleated or something so it didnt look silly
I cant really properly describe it but i assume this may be the "bustle loop" that the other ladies are talking about?

mine has a loop inside but not sure where to hook it to & if i hooked it up on the back somewhere you would see all the inside of the dress, wondering now if its hooked up inside somewhere, will have a look later, my worry tho is its really heavy so needs to be something strong to hold it xx

My dress had like a button on the back which I hooked my train onto at night only problem was though I asked my friend to come and help me in the loo lol and on the way there she stood on the back of it and the button came off so I just had to wear my train down good job it was not very long xx

the only prob with having a button on the inside of the skirt is that someone has to put their head up your dress to button it up. not for the faint hearted, my poor mother. lol xx
