So I've got a quote from a friend who is just getting into photography but I'm not really sure what I should expect to pay a new photographer who isn't yet doing it as a full time job? She's quoted me £700 for photos all day, edited and put on a memory stick plus 100 in a printed photo album. Does this sound reasonable?

    i dont think so.
my none wedding proffessional photographer was going to charge me £250 (she used to be a studio photographer)
however im now using a professional wedding photograher and hes charging me £800 for all day (getting ready to 1st dance) with a small album and everything on USB.
so no i dont think its reasonable

For an experienced photographer who has built up a reputation it is reasonable but for someone only starting out I'd say it's too much and would be looking at paying nearer to £350 - £400 for that.
