I have my music that I want to walk in to but my BMs will be first and the music I want is 1min 10secs long. Do you think this is long enough for us all to get down the aisle? I know it doens't sound long but I bet you'd be surprised how far you could walk in that time.

I was thinking the very same thing hun. Why don't you try walking in a straight line for that time and see how far it takes you? You can always quicken or slow your pace (as long as it's not too dramatic!). xxx

Neighbours will think I'm daft but I will go and walk for 1 min 10 secs and see where I end up. Hopefully not in their garden! Cheers.x

this sounds funny, I can just imagine you walking at different speeds for 1 min 10 secs to see how far you get lol

a very practical question though lol I'll certainly keep this in mind when I go back to my venue to see it set up. I'll time muself walking pretty slowish down the aisle

Well it's Kelly Clarkson's 'A moment like this' and after 1 min 10 it gets a bit excited and I only want the mellow bit at the start. I thought maybe she could burst into song again when we kiss...

I tried it when I walked the dog but he pulls me so unless he drags me down the aisle I don't think it was an accurate trial. It hasn't stopped raining all day but maybe if this heatwave hits tomorrow I might play it out the window and walk up and down the garden.x

I don't like Leona's warbly voice! I actually want the version from the Sandals Resorts adverts! but I can't find that one so I settled for Kelly's version.x

it takes 1 minute 30 seconds to walk down my aisle, my music is 4 minutes long, so have worked out each set of bm and fg and bm ad pb, so that it leaves me 1 minute 30 seconds left to walk down it, but each aisle will be a different length so check with the venue, we are having a rehearsal the day before once the venue is set up for the ceremony :) x

I think the day before when we go to set things up I will have a practice. Worried that it'll be too lat eto do anything about it if it doesn't work tho! Maybe I'll have another piece of music on standby that I could play for the whole song.

you will definately need to know the length of your aisle to time it out properly.I am planning on going to church in the next few weeks, and after the service ill practice walking up the aisle to see how long it will take.

I think you will be surprised how fast you walk on the day. You need to make sure you follow your father's pace.

My dad has had operations on his knees so we won't be jogging down the aisle. Won't be able to practice with my dad cos he's in Wales so he'll just have to walk at my pace.x
