Ok so my parents are up for my graduation and we decided to go suit shopping together. So we went in we the OH saying he wanted a grey short jacket. My dad has always wanted a kilt but we thought it was a joke as we are far from Scottish! Well dad started joking and they tried them on and looked very nice so now the bridal party are in kilts with all the trimmings!!
I have said I dont want to know details of the tartan or jacket etc, as long as it goes with the green colour scheme.
Were any of you surprised as his choices? ?

That sounds lovely; if they are wearing a kilt then they should be proper honoury Scotsman - bare all :P

Hes warned me they will. I worry as at my sisters wedding at the weekend my uncles stripped off so no dount there would be some kilt lifting later on. There was also talk of a message written for me on bum cheeks!

My h2b was warned there would be no wedding if he didn't wear a kilt lol...but to be fair I bought his kilt this year for him so it will be another excuse to wear it. I think all men in kilts look lovely probably because it is not something you see them in every day xx

i would kill my groom if he tryed to lean towards a kilt, as it does so not go with our wedding, we are in the south as far from north as possible

All of our grooms party are wearing kilts. (Even though we're from Scotland) I think it doesn't matter what shape or size a man is, every man looks good in a kilt :) x
