Evening buffet for 80 guests *
Late bar extension
DJ entertainment until 12.30am

need to play around with figures and obviosly want decorations etc, am not using the ceremony hire as having a church wedding sitting here waiting for them to call me back but they have saved me the date x
I like your bits at the bottom we off to the Dom Repuplic for the honeymoon 0n the mon after wedding now that is booked and paid for lol x

I'm having a holiday in wedding in aylesbury, the 999 package is very different to your holiday inn
standard package was:

Bucks fizz for 35 guests
3course Wedding breakfast for 35 guests
Room hire for ceremony, breakfast and buffet
Cake stand and sword
Red carpet
Evening buffet for 50
Evening room hire
Master of ceremonies
Personal wedding planner
Complimentary bridal suite for bride and groom

I added another 20 guests, seat covers, a supplement to marry in their licensed courtyard thing which is why I picked this one, 8 bottles of wine, 12 jugs of juice and I removed the evening reception because I don't want one. Dunno how much I've spent but it's really nice and brilliant value, it has excellent feedback on trip advisor from other people who got married there

We went in for a meeting with Holiday Inn, Taunton this weekend and it was fantastic. The women showing us around was very on the ball, organised and sooo passionate and its a definite possibility for us. We were offered a £4500 package though and that was:

Sit down 3 course meal for 50 people
Evening Buffet for 100
DJ
Flowers on all tables
Balloons (wouldn't have as hate balloons)
Drinks on arrival, with meal and sparkling wine for toast.
Linen for tables.
Cake stand.

It was a really good deal and then only need to add extra few guests on and 20 of them are children anyway so half price, xxx

Taunton is in Somerset.... yours is alot cheaper than mine. It may be the location? We have found Somerset is expensive as so rural so less choice on venues. However you sound like you have a good deal, were not going with the Holiday Inn now as found somewhere else that is easier for location. xxx

Well we live in Birmingham and plenty of choice here and cheaper but Somerset is where my mum lives and the church is what i have dreamed about so doing the wedding 120 miles away... not too bad but half our guests have to travel too. xx

I hope so as really worrying me about people staying and having to pay out for a hotel... his sister said she would be coming back that night as cant afford it but only £80 per night and surely with a years notice people can save and wont mind paying out? xx

Yeah we have a few friends that don't drive so going to have plenty of dinner parties between now and then with different groups of friends so they can make friends and car share xx
