    Hi ladies
my htb really wants a hog roast but just got a couple of questions
    1. Is it indoor or outdoor?
    2. Reception or ceremony?
    3. What is a three course hog roast?
    4. Are they available in October?

Can't really find much info and have never had one can anyone help?

They usually do them outdoors at the reception because it generates loads of smoke. The people I am having mine with provide them year-round. If you drop them an email they'll answer any other questions for you, the bloke could not be more helpful! I will pop their link on your wall for you hun x

Haha I did wonder ;) I personally am having mine for an evening do, but I think there are also people on here who are having it as their main meal. The three course thing I think is just when they can provide a salad or something, plus dessert afterward but I might be wrong there as I'm just all about the meat! Haha x

I'm having mine indoors (in a stately home so you can do it anywhere) and for the main wedding breakfast. We're not having a starter but we're having the hog roast and roast potatoes and various salads then a dessert and cheese board and coffee. It saved us nearly £2000 on a formal sit down.x

If you google it there are lots of companies around the country :-) we thought about having it as our main wedding breakfast which I know is increasingly popular but h2b then mentioned that we would have to get up and help ourselves and we want to be served lol something I hadnt thought about tbh lol xx

The venue we are looking at on Sunday (a castle) offer a hog roast at £8.95 for a basic hog £9.95 for a two course hog and £16.95 for a three course hog. Compared to the three course meal priced at £40-£80 a head I think it's a bargain. I was just worried t would have to be outside In October and my guests would freeze lol x

Not sure where you live, but we are having a hog roast, we opted for two course so are having five types of pick up type starters such as spring rolls butterfly prawns salmon and cheese on brown bread, then our hog roast with rolls and all the salads, they are also supplying all the crockery and the cutlery, ours is a hog roast that can be cooked inside or outside, we have been to some of the sunday lunch hog roasts that they do, lovely xx ps we have a hundred guests and are paying £1,200 for ours xx
