I've got ages to go yet and had a couple of "demanding" moments but not got stressed or thrown a hissy fit.

My sister never turned bridezilla until the night before the wedding and only because we discovered the BM dresses were not matching and different shades of red!

So you may just be one of those lucky ladies who just take it all in her stride and nothing fazes you xx

I'm the same Jane, not bothered in the slightest..everybody keeps asking me if I'm excited/stressed and I'm not at all!

Am I supposed to be? Is it a bad thing to be this calm? Lol...surely it's a good thing?x

I think worrying and a little anxiousness when buying/deciding on big things is normal, as is wanting it to go all well on the day. I think "Bridezilla" should only be given to those brides who are mean to there friends and family or super demanding and unreasonale because they "think they can". Some of those Bridezillas on the tv show should really be ashamed of themselves! I would tell them where to stick their demands!!

Not everyone goes into Bridezilla mode during wedding planning. I'd venture to say that most women have their moments, but that doesn't mean that they are a Bridezilla. I'd further say that plenty of the Bridezillas featured on the show don't go all Bridezilla until the cameras arrive.
The show is filmed during the week leading up to the actual wedding and then heavily edited to show the bride and her family at their worst. With the magic of editing hours of film into a show anyone could be made to look really bad/b*tchy/whatever. Ever notice the brides whose segments are really short? That's because there wasn't enough footage of them behaving badly, and these are women who self identified as Bridezillas and the producers agreed!
I personally think the term Bridezilla needs to be retired or at least put in the context of being a reality tv concept.

I've had my moments, mostly when I expect people to use common sense or be there for appts and it doesnt happen. I'll be glad when I dont need to chase people up anymore, I'm exhausted with it all! I am generally quite an anxious person though so I already worry that things wont go to plan and when they dont it annoys the life right out of me! x

I never did become a Bridezilla.......and even when things went wrong I just either took it, or laughed about it.
After the wedding when my wedding photos were absolute shite.....I still didnt even kick off.

Well I did have Cake Gate.......but that wasnt really my fault...but it was soon sorted and I didnt resort to a temper tamtrum...

I like to think I'm quite a laid back person, so hoping for no major 'moments' before the big day.

I never thought I'd be married (oh was dead against it and I was rather unfussed tbh) but now we're engaged we are both in full scale planning mode!

I hope that I don't lose sight of the main thing, which is me and my oh declaring our love and our vows to one another. After all, nobody will remember that the flowers were the wrong shade or the cake was fruit, sponge and chocolate instead of chocolate, sponge and fruit or whatever.

I think you can get to the stage of over planning - I've been to some weddings before that we're more like military operations. Nine times out of ten, it's those surprise moments like the flower girl tripping over your train, or the manic search for the best man before the speeches that are what you will be laughing about in years to come, and I think those moments and little hiccups are part of what makes the day special.

    Xx

I think if you're a person that doesn't worry too much then you may be lucky to escape it. I don't think I've had any bridezilla moments. I've joked once that i'll turn all bridezilla on the venue if I don't get yorkshire puddings with the beef but that's it lolI keep thinking I should be doing something, but there's nothing to do so I'm probably making myself a little anxious over nothing. I've not had any nightmares or anything. I have been a little miffed at my sister for her lack of interest but that's nothing major. I just want things to be nice and want everyone to enjoy themselves x

I have 10 months to go and already had a bridezilla moment at my own mum!!!
I think it depends on the person, the amount of stress you are under and also the cooperation of everyone around you....but you might be lucky and not be a bridezilla :)
