Is anyone having a hen do and a bridle shower? My sister has asked me today if she can be in charge of the hen do and it'l probably involve going into town on a night out so was thinking of having a bridal shower as well so older members and younger members can come to that. What are you all planning?

I am having a hen do but because we are asking for money and no gift I don't see the point of a bridal shower. I would love one though

Well it's not a bridle shower as in expecting gifts its more a get together of all the girls from all the generations.

No that doesn't sound greedy. I might have three hen nights one for the young uns one for the oldies and one for work.

I thought bridal showers were an american thing but I don't see any reason why you can't do both because they always do. They have a bridal shower then their 'bachelorette party'. Seen it on bridezillas lol.

Lol!! I said to my sister that i would like both as for the same reasons as u katiejane but she said I cant do that lol! Most ppl who will be coming to the hen night (if i have one) will want a piss up and im not a big drinker so my sister said about setting up a spa day :D I still kinda want a bridal shower tho for everyone else to attend like my mum, aunt etc. So I dont see why not :P
