i would never do this...i would be scared to drink anything incase i made myself ill i wouldnt enjoy myself at all x

I had mine two weeks before and Terry had his the week before and he looked awful the next day so I wouldnt advise having them the night before x

We're having ours a few weeks if not a month before the big day! Lads are going abroad somewhere and I think a group of 17 girlies are going to go to Blackpool for a few days :) and then I'll have a meal and drinkies for ladies who couldnt make or weren't invited to Blackpool and Mums lol and then a few days before the wedding me my mum and my 3 adult bridesmaids will go to a spa for a day to get our bits and bobs done for the wedding like waxing, nails, have a massage etc xxx

oooooooooooooooooooo bit risky my H2B is going abroad for his so he is going in Nov ( we get married in feb lol ) having mine in Jan so we can hit the jan sales aswell as have a good night out xx

Oh great heavens no! Yeesh, terrible idea! A few drinks, fine, but the whole hen/stag thing? Not a chance! H2b has enough trouble getting out of bed in a morning, if his stag's the night before I'd be lucky if he made the wedding at all!

wouldnt advise having it the nite before the wedding hun, i'm going to have mine 3 weeks before the wedding and matt is having his 4 weeks before the wedding xx

not a flaming chance!! for too risky. Not only will you not enjoy your day as much cause you will be tired and hungover, but there is also the chance of things going wrong!! one of you sleeping in, black eyes, scraped knees, or one of you could easy be sitting in an A&E dept. Not worth the risk in my opinion!

God I don't think this is a very good idea at all - I'm warning H2B to be in bed early and sober lol! And I couldn't get married with a hangover, I get hungover even after a few glasses of wine!

All i want to do the night before the wedding is order my fav food, site and watch movies with a glass of wine with my bms and my mum

My friend last year had a stag do the night before his wedding... he had already had his "big" one with the lads, he was supposed to be spending his last night at a local pub with a few mates n best man (my OH). They did behave themselves eventhough they ended up clubbing in town n not getting in till 1am, the main prob was they decided it was a good idea to go for a curry. The mornig of the wedding the groom, the Best man and the ushers all stank of curry and garlic.... lookily his wife to be didnt mind too much lol!! and the wedding was fantastic... after a few extra strong mints lol!!

I think I'm having the hen day a couple of days before the wedding as we are having a spa day with no alcohol as I can't drink with my meds anyway. It means I get all my beauty treatments done like waxing etc. I don't want it the day before as I have to do things like pick up my dress, drop off luggage at the venue etc etc. On the night I want to kick everyone out, have a chilled night with a chick flick on my own so I can stay calm and try and get some sleep. If I have everyone around I will only stay up late and they will keep me excited.

I don't think I would like to be drinking the night before the wedding. It depends on your hubby really. If he isn't a big drinker then I shouldn't see it being a problem but I would ask him if he really wants to be stinking of beer on his wedding day or have a hang over. Also if he is adamant about having his stag night then that is up to him but that doesn't mean you have to have your hen night the same night. I don't think he has thought it through. Nice post ;P

if the only reason he wants to do it is to keep to some traditions, why dont you tell him to buy you a luckenbooth, a sixpence and then to carry you over the threshold when you get home. Why does it have to be the night before stag do tradition? there are loads of others!
