HI my h2b is a fanatic chelsea fan, as i have the main say in mostly everything to do with the wedding i thought it would be nice to have a wedding cake in a chelsea theme, but when i ask cake makers for this and for it to look like a wedding cake rather then a birthday cake they look at me as though i have lost the plot!!!!!
Do any of you have any ideas where i can get a cake made?? any ideas gratefully received

I'm a cake decorator and cant understand why so many others arent willing to go with the unusual when it comes to wedding cakes! I can certainly picture how it would be possible to do a cake with a chelsea theme. Just a shame I am so far away from you :(. Have a look on google for novelty cake decorators and choose someone who works from home rather than a shop - from my experience they are a lot more willing to do something unique rather than out of their book of designs (and are generally cheaper as there are less overheads). I hope you manage to find someone. Other idea is to look for someone who makes novelty cake toppers who could make you a sugarcraft bride and groom with the groom in a chelsea strip rather than a suit that you could then put onto a more traditional wedding cake?

ask around were you live,see if any locals make cakes,i was lucky enough to find a lady in my village who made our cake,or look on the book of face,search cake groups in your area and see if anyone can help you xxx

hi my h2b is also a cfc fan. Im having cupcakes for our wedding 'cake' with edible sugar paper chelsea logos on top with plastic footballers and shirts numbers. Then having a miniture cake with novelty cake topper. Hope this helps/

i am ordering my wedding cake from a super market and buying the decorations from an online auction site.... it has cost me less than £100 for a 4 tier cake inc decs and topper just a thought.... i am also a chelseafan so know exactly what you mean.
