I have opted for a 3 inch heel as I dont want to tower over H2B who is about 5ft11.
But I know that MOH wants really high heels. LIke really really high!
I dont mind her having high heels at all - as long as she doesnt complain about them hurting - to which i will laugh and say 'you chose them love!!' hehe!!
But what about her being super tall in the photos will it look wierd?
Im worried me and h2b will look really short. because my other bridesmaid is 17 but she is already taller than H2b. she's tall and slim so she will be towering over us as it is!!

Me and my BMS's are wearing high heels, but as im quite tall and my H2B is 6ft 4 its not too much of a problem. If they are tall anyway then heels arent going to make any difference but its up to you x

The MOH is the same height as me. The BM who is tall - well she is tall and everyone knows it - she always sticks out a bit.
so rather than looking short next to Tall bm I just look normal and she looks tall. BUt if MOH is tall too will i then just look really short.
I dont mind so much i guess but i dont want H2B to look short too!

My MOH and one of my bridesmaids wil be taller than me (even though I will be wearing four inch heels). I am short, I always will be and I have learnt to accept it. I don'tr think it matetrs if there are people who are taller - it's just the way that people are!

My MOH is over 6ft tall in flat shoes, and she wants to wear heels to the wedding. She will tower over me and h2b and the other BM who is shorter than me! So I think we'll all be a bizarre collection of heights, but I'm not gonna worry about it. In my heels I'll be the same height as H2B, but I didn't want to wear flats as I stand better in heels, so he'll just have to put up with it ;p
So I say - don't sweat it :-) All eyes will be on you anyway!

I am 5"3 and 3 o my bridesmaids are around the same height, however I have one bridesmaid who is 5"8 and towers over all of us, I have said the bridesmaids can wear whatever they are most comfortable in, but I have asked the tallest bridesmaid if she minds wearing flats so she won't tower us. One of my bridemaid's is 6' tall, and has said she won't wear heels if we don't want her to; I've said I really don't mind and it's whatever she's comfortable in. She'll be the tallest person by far anyway (I'll be about 5'10/11" in heels; my OH is just under 6'; my dad is about 5'6"), so personally I'm fine with her wearing heels.
I'm not really comfortable dictating what people wear, and people can't change their height; if one of your BM's is taller than your H2B anyway then TBH I don't think it should be an issue. Gone are the days when men were taller than women nearly all the time, people vary so much now and personally I don't think it would look odd. Ultimately though it's up to you; perhaps she could wear a lower heel or flats for the photos if you think it'd look odd as a compromise? How does your H2B feel?

I havent even compared against my Bm's how bad is that lol! To be honest hun its your day and ur the bride and people will be looking at you, thats what i keep being told, the day is all about the bride.

Well am 6ft 1 in a pair of heels and h2b is 6th 4 .... So we dnt have heel height problem...... But I say who cares... As a tall bird... Dresses and flats to disguise tallness looks awful and doesn't make you stand right ... I find I look more slouchy as a tall bird in flats ... And heel make even the tallest more elegant

ive been stressing given that one bm is ALOT taller than the other two but as ppl have said, no-one will be looking at them but u dont want to make it worse... keep them at the same height but dont let them go overboard with shoes.

At 5'1" I'd be hard pushed to get heels high enough for me and flat enough for my other BM's to make sure I'm taller than them! It's just the way it is :)

i dont think it matters really but i know we all think about it im avin big heels as im a short arse compared to everyone else i wanted bms to have shorter dresses but that hasnt happened so now my moh is th same hight as me but she wont want heels as high as me n my sister is way taller than me so shes happy now she can have flats coz noone will see them which helps in a way!

My dad is only 5 ft 1 and when he got married to my step mum, they had some photos taken on a staircase and they had him stood on a couple further up so they'd look the same size lol. Luckily she's shrunk with age so they are almost the same size now.
