I am trying to write a bit of a budget a tthe moment but I have no idea what to expect from hair and make up. I really want them doing professionally on the day. Do you guys know what I can expect for prices?
Cheers ladies :-) x

I'm a mobile beauty therapist and do a lot of wedding makeups. From experience prices vary HUGELY depending on where you live and if they travel to you or you travel to them on the day. xxx

my make up lady says £20 per person and the same for a trial, but she says only i need a trial. So thats £80 for 3 of us, but the evil BM's are paying for themselves. I told them i didnt care if they paid or did their own makeup so i gave them that option and they said they wanted to pay for it :P

If you have a hairdresser ask her if she can quote you. Admittedly my hairdresser is friends with my h2b and she's doing mine for free, but she's charging £25 each for adults, £20 for teens and £10-15 for kiddies, £145 in total for 6 of them, ask your hairdresser or a mobile hairdresser. Newly qualified beauticians are usually good, my MOH and best friend qualified last year and she would charge a good rate, not expensive, she was excellent too

Well i cant help on the make up front as i am doing my own, but i agree with fester, ask your regular hairdresser. if you have been there for a long time she might even do you a deal. My hair is also being done by a family friend hairdresser who will probably do it for free. She said she will do it but we haven't gone further than that yet lol. xx
