Well it has finally come and they are still together. (Thats H2B's dad and H2B's ex girlfriend.)
Tomorrow at 12 noon, Leighs ex will be his step mum.
We got our invite when they first decided they were getting married (had to do it before me and Leigh) and we told them straight away that me, Leigh and our two girls will be coming. Anyway, Leigh got a call from his sister (who is maid of honour) saying that there is no food that has been ordered or places saved for our two girls. Even though we told them both that our girls will be coming, they still thought that I'd get my mum to babysit for about 2 hours!!!! Its been sorted now so I have no excuse not to go. :-( and I was hoping for an excuse.
I know I'm being nasty but I give up trying to like her or even get along with her as she makes no effort with me. She put on FB the other night that she put on 1lb and half and got a huge spot and i couldnt stop laughing!! She got her dress from a friend and hasnt had it altered to fit her body, she expects her body to fit into the dress tomorrow!!
Well their daughters christening was a joke as they were both laughing all the way through that so I expect nothing less tomorrow. Arguments that she hasnt ordered the correct food, or paid for it, DJ not turning up or just generally things getting messed up.

yep. defo. is it me though or have they mucked up abit with the guests? I thought that if you were inviting kids (kids in general) that when doing a draft of the seating plan that you include them and presume that they will be coming along with the parent(s) unless otherwise stated by the parent(s). i know shes having kids there as there are a couple of people who i talk to who are going and they have kids about the same age and my eldest and they didnt say if their kids were coming but were automatically accounted for in the seating plans and orders for food? I dont know if I'm just being organised and got the wrong end of the stick or if its "supposed" to be this way?

I'm just gonna grin and bear it to be honest. Wait until 8.30 when my taxi turns up then go home. Got camera at the ready so I can show my mum. My mum being worse than me. shes determined that Mine and Leighs wedding will be much classier than this one. So much so that she wants minute by minute detail, photos and shes even gonna drive to the council offices at the time just to get a glimpse of her. Mum has also decided to allow us to have our "fussy" photos at hers where she will have prepared canapes and bubbly wine to match the colour theme!! Shes also booked two people from my sisters work to serve people!! My mum NEVER does that!!!!! So instead of me being bridezilla, shes being monster of the bride lol. Cant wait until H2B's dad drops fag ends in my mums yard!! she hates people doing that, me and Leigh both smoke but we smoke at the end of the garden and put our fag ends in the bin. Its a matter of respect and H2B's dad has none and nor does his new wife as of tomorrow.

Sorry girls, H2B was about and he didnt really want me "gossiping" about it. i've been dying to tell you all.
First off, H2B's dad didnt know what to do and was seen by His now wife. Then they couldnt stop laughing at during the wedding. only about 10 people actually turned up even though they had invited about 40. She had to use a corset to squeeze into the dress which wasnt altered for her body. (So she couldnt breathe and she was spilling out of the top of it)
I noticed they didnt have a photographer there at all, they were relying on people taking photos and giving them copies.
The meal was horrid. Everyone was ranting on how good this ladys cooking was, but she'd totally over cooked the broccolli to the point that it was grey!!! and the meat was really really dry.
Her mum made the bridesmaids dresses (they were really nice to be honest, so I'll give credit for that) but seen as her mum can sew, you'd of thought that the bride would've tried the dress on and made sure the train could be pinned up or held. Given that she didnt do this, she had to drag it around allllllll night. So she couldnt breathe, her food was stuck in her rib cage (all because the corset was too tight) she was spilling outta her dress and she was draggin the train about. This got trod on so many times it was quite funny.
Generally it was a joke. my H2B was an usher along with his brother, and they were given no jobs to do. They were basically guests in matching suits to the groom.
I've learnt so much. did get abit upset though because her dad gave her away and that wont be ever happening to me as my dad died 8 yrs ago.
