Right, my flowergirls are both 4.5, and my wedding is the first weekend in June - the dresses are knee/calf length, so do I get the mums to buy them ankle socks or tights to go with their shoes? I just don't know! Think I'd prefer tights but don't want the girls to feel hot or restricted all day etc...
so amazing how something so small can feel like a massive issue eh!

Haha you're so like me, I've been wondering about this for a while. I have no idea either so will see what others think!

I'd buy tights just in case the weather isn't so great.. as it hasn't been recently... Socks would look the bees knees though if the weather perks up!! xx

I would go for tights too, you can get some very pretty girls lacy tights that are not thick xx

I don't really care about what she'll wear (only 1 2 years old flowergirl need this in my case) as long as she is comfy and it doesn't clash with the dress
Soon to be Mrs Gary Doublé
Everything is now booked
Getting really stressed and excited now

I'd go with socks.. the little 'foldy down' type with flowery edges! The ones we used to wear to school lol x

My little girl (7)will most definitely be wearing socks.Even when its sub zero she will not consider tights, she hates them.On the few occasions that i have made her wear them she is sooooo unladylike, pulling at her gusset constantly lol! This is not the kind of thing i want my beautiful princess to be remembered for so even if its freezing she'll be in socks! xxx

Very easy. Let the mums decide. They will know what they feel comfortable in. Plus, if they wont enjoy wearing tights for example, the believe me, they will start playing up!
At the end of the day, everyone will go "awwwww"

I think im gonna have to go with tights as my flowergirl dress has got some netting on the inside of the dress...im thinking this may feel a bit 'scratchy' on her little 3 year old leggies x

Get both and see how the weather is on the day. Personally I think ankle socks look prettier x

i'm going for socks i think, my girls dresses are long so i don't think it doesnt matter but if its cold before the wedding i might consider getting tights but i think that socks are the way for mine as she strips her clothes off as soon as she can most days lol
