I used for 3 times a week for 2 months and did not lose a dress size! I didn't even lose any weight - but have managed to lose over a stone since joining weight watchers! So my verdict is that no, they don't do what they promise. However I've always had problems with my knees, particularly when the weather gets cold, and they didnt hurt at all - one of the other benefits is supposed to be an improvement in joint strength etc xx

My other half uses a power plate machine at the gym 4 times a week after a session, he does 15 minutes on the power plate, it does not help you loose weight but it very good for tonning up muscles as long as you use it correctly, has great legs and solid abs.

I'm trying them as well just now......but you can't just use the machine, you still have to diet at the same time. x

We use vibration plates in the gym where I work at.

They are really good, you can see results in as little as 3 weeks, need to use it for 10 minutes at a time about 3-4 sessions a weeks. Make sure you are not just standing there, you can do squats, lunges, sit on it, press up and even sit ups. Make sure you are shown if not you tube it, we have 3 different level of workouts. You need to use it regulary too results but it can improve circulation, aid digestion, break down fat molecules, reduce the appearcance of cellulite as well as relax muscles.

If you want to fat burn, you should do some carido to, as this will help reduce the weight. The vibration plates are more toning.

Hope this helps and Good luck,

    Vickie

I don't know anything about the flabeloss plates so can't comment on them. The plates we have at the gym were I work you need to used them about 3-4 times a week for 10 minutes and you will see results in 3 weeks, may not be weight loss but inches. Also we offer personal training on these plates so do a full body workout with squats, press ups, sit ups, planks etc on the plate, rather than just stand there.

    Keep at it
    xx

They're alright but you can't expect to just stand on it for three weeks and lose weight. I tried using one with my personal trainer at the gym as part of a workout and personally don't like them (or rather, my dodgy knee does not like them) but they can work, if used as part of a routine and with diet. I no longer go to the gym, I work out from home and diet and find that it's working better for me. x

I just noticed they have one of these machines right near my house.
I just want to tone my arms up a bit (theyve gone all stupid and flabby) and my thighs and stomach I guess, but I'm a size 10 so I don't really want to loose weight- does this mean that this flabelos thing would be ace for me?

I used to use these plates 4 times per week, as part of my work out in the gym, ....they done nothing for me at all, and this was with a personal trainer 2 out of 4 times.... to be honest, all i got was a monster headache afterwards lol!

I now have a gym at home, and H2B is a bodybuilder so he is training me,....so far, in my new workout i have lost just over a stone...and thats eating the same stuff as i was before when i was in the gym. I dont need to lose masses amounts of weight, but i would like to tone up the wobbly bits! arrghhh! lots of them! x
