Journey - don't stop believing, its the one song that we can agree on for a first dance as we both sing along like loonies to it ..... or ..... the time warp ........ totally different but its about the only song that I will dance to without any hesitation !!!!

Me and my H2b are having Ed Sheeran - Kiss Me. He used to have his album playing in his car all the time and brings back a lot of memories for us :) I'm might be really brave and sing a version of it for H2B :)

We are thinking of having Stand By Me - the original by Ben E. King. It's lovely without being too lovey dovey and soppy which is something we both agreed we didn't want! We then want to do something a little different and fun after the first dance though.. I want to choreograph a dance for us to do as a surprise for our guests and am going to get my bridesmaids to join is as the girls and I are all dancers xx

We are thinking of having Ivory road by King Charles, but are struggling to figure out how to dance to it (even after having some dance lessons). It's a really significant song to us though. Unusual but beautiful.
I'm still discussing daddy daughter dance song with my dad, we've narrowed it down to 4 possibilities... Nothing else matters by Metallica (it was one of my mums favourites) Rhiannon by fleetwood Mac as my dad loves it Don't cry by guns n roses as both me and my dad love it Or, no rain by blind melon (my dad suggested it as its one of my favorites and he said if he hears it it always makes him smile, but I think it's a bit fast for dancing to)

I Love Ed Sheerans Teneriffe Sea but I'm not sure if that would seem very big headed of me lol, might have it playing when signing the register. I have always said I want my first dance song to be Chasing cars by snow patrol (I also want this to be played at my funeral morbid I know but the words are perfect for both) but I was listening to clean bandit rather be earlier and if I can find a less dancy version I would love that as our first dance as me and h2b both love the song and the lyrics are perfect

First dance songs are going to be Unity by Shinedown and Odds Are by Barenaken ladies. Both of us love our rock and quirky music and didn't want anything soppy but instead reflects our charecters and story.
Other songs we are having during the wedding ceremony are: Procession. Tale as old as time (instrumental) [from “Beauty and the Beast”] (see Essential Disney album) Signing the marriage schedule. Foy Vance - Be the Song Recession. Jack Johson - Better together.

I love our song we having, it gives me goose bumps when I listen to it and imagine what its going to be like - us outside in the woods twinkling fairy lights, everyone in a circle , having our first dance !! soooo excited.. we fell in love listening to Angus Julia Stone album and their songs means a lot to us and they just so happened to write a wedding song for their friend and its amazing ...super unique and beautiful.. check it out ! The wedding song - Angus Julia Stone :) It may not be for everyone taste but I love it so much and the words are perfect !

Still struggling with this, but just come across a lovely cover of Stand By Me which could be a contender. We wanted the original for a long time but now I'm thinking I'd rather have more a of a slow song - you only get to do your first dance once, right?!
