I have decided for my wedding to have my first dance with my father and then for him to give me to my husband for our dance.
The problem i have is that i have trawled site after site after site and all over youtube to find a song that me and my dad can dance to. The problem i have is that we haven't always been close and after my mum left there was quite a while that we didn't talk because i really didn't like his new girlfriend (she is my godmother and was my mums best friend) but he got sick about 12 months ago with cancer and since then we have really come together and we are closer than ever now.
There are loads of songs out there that a father would sing to his daughter but i want one from me to him. I was thinking of having There You'll Be by Faith Hill but my h2b wants that one for us and my sister in law (to be) had changed by kelly and ozzy osbourne for their song so i can't have that one. I am just really stuck on what to choose and these so called brilliant father/daughter websites have no songs that express a daughters love for her father at all.
Please can anyone help me i'm starting to think we might have to stick to the birdy song or something.
