I had already viewed lots of venues with my mum & made a shortlist for OH to view, myself & OH spent all of yesterday visiting all of the venues again plus a couple of cheap halls (which is what he wanted, he didn't want to spent lots on the venue) & finally we made a decision.
He fell in love with my favourite venue :) when I viewed it previously it was dark so I didn't get to see the gardens, so we arrived earlier this time & had a stroll through the gardens & wow, they are stunning! (Pics in album) I can just imagine how amazing they will look for our summer wedding.
So our wedding will be the 8th August 2015, soo happy that it is now official & we can get the ball rolling.

Were very excited, the negative side to that is that I really can't be bothered with christmas lol
Every penny we spend on gifts I keep thinking that could be money towards the wedding!
Does anyone know how far in advance we can book the church? It is a church of england if that makes any difference.

congratulations! we were so excited when we booked our venue. im the same with xmas its just an unnecessary expense this year!. with the church it was the first thing we booked. we provisionally booked our venue and then waited until we got date confirmed with the church before we paid our deposit. just in case the church wasnt free. we booked both 15 months before our wedding. we rang up and he confirmed that he would let us get married there. we popped in for a meeting and filled out our details and our date was held x
