After reading about people falling off and onto buses and such in the chat thread, I thought it would be fun to share embarrassing stories (doesn't have to be your own lol)

I'll start with the story at my Aunts wedding back in the day, the H2B actually said "awful wedded wife" (complete accident). We all froze in horror as we thought she would have killed him lol

I once got concussion and nearly broke my arm (luckily just bad bruising) after falling off a chair. I don't remember how as I never recovered the memory. I wasn't drunk- it was in an alcohol awareness lecture.

I think probably one of my more embarrassing moments was in my first job. A little background - I looked after the computer system, which was always having problems. I am also afraid of thunderstorms. One day I was in reception, helping the receptionist, and we had a bad storm start. Suddenly there was a loud clap of thunder and the power went out, so of course everything went dead quiet, and with a combination of nerves and dread for the computer system, I went "F**K!" at the top of my voice in the middle of reception - I wanted to curl up and disappear!!

I used to go rowing and we used to have time trials and i remember a big time trial we had, clubs from all over the uk used to come to enter, and we had the british olympic rowing team aswell (bar sir steve redgrave) it was the year redgrave won sports personality of the year, i met James Cracknell & the only thing that came out my mouth was "the suit you wore on sports personality really brought out the colour of your hair & eyes" as soon as i said it i realised what i had said & wanted the ground to swallow me up there & then! my parents to this day 10 years later still wont let me live it down,

The first time I ever got drunk was when I was 16, I was working ass a saturday girl for primarni and the store had just been refurbished and we had been rewarded for our hard work in getting the store clean and ready for the re-opening with a big party at a local hotel. It was quite a posh do and we were all glammed up, and as I said I got a little drunk.... and fell down a whole flight of stairs into the reception area on my way out :S Didn't hurt a bit though - the wonders of alcohol :P

I was really conscious of being polite around H2b's Nan as she was an Irish catholic and was quite quick to point out rudeness. I had to pick up H2bs dog and put him outside as he wouldnt get out. Bare in mind this lady "can't see us" when we were stood 10 inches away but when I was 16 ft away bending down to put the dog down my trousers slipped a tiny bit showing the top of my undies (lets just say not much fabric to them). She immediately said "Oh my God would you look at that! I've never seen anything like it in all my life!" Needless to say I have never lived that down :( xxx

My most embarrassing story was when i fell off a bus! I got on to ask which way it went and realised it was the wrong bus, as i turned around a lost my footing and went flying in front of a full bus station. GEM1102 will remember it well as she was with me. I kept hold of the first thing i saw which was a plastic bag Gem had hold of. It snapped, her CD went under the bus and she was left holding the handles. i then had to climb under the bus to get her CD

    Oh the shame

Too tired to think of my most embarrassing. My latest silly moment was not last night the night before. I pushed a door open that usually pushes, and walked through the door. Only thing is the door didn't open and I ran at it. I still have a headache from where I konked my skull against a fire door :) Worst thing was my colleague said - oh that must have really hurt - urm TEARS and uncontrollable sobs because she was nice to me....my patient found it hilarious that I was crying with pain whilst giving him his pain relief :)

    I'm now a married woman
    I have a gorgeous husband
    Whats to do now
Theres no more wedding planning to do

Mine was from when i was 19, i was dancing near a group of lads that were quite fit & a lady twice the size of me fell and knocked into me so hard i did a back flip into these guys..thing was the table went over with us and we all were on the floor but 2 of the lads still managed to hold onto their pints without spilling!! i was mortified! whole place laughed at me..tho least i got some free drinks for making peoples night..and yes thankgoodness i was wearing troussers else it may have been more shameful.

ps i have a bus story! i was 10 and there was a huge que to get off at my stop...the bus driver didnt see me and closed the doors (it was the doors near back so old style bus) i was trapped between the 2 doors facing outwards and he drove off...my school friends laughed while the elderly people on the bus screamed at the driver to stop. I dont do busses anymore thanks to him lol.

think my embarrassing moment was july 09 was out in a club for a friends birthday (very drunk and in stupidily high heeled shoes) and fell over. anyway carried on dancing the night away and had to walk 15 mins home. apparently i fell off the kerb on the way. i have no memory of this tho. i woke up on the sunday morning to go to work and my foot was slightly sore but off too work i went. as the morning went on i was in more and more pain until i couldnt even stand. i looked down and my foot and ankle was black!! off to hospital i went and i had broken my foot!! i was going on holiday a week later as well so because of that and the fact it was so swollen they couldnt plaster it!!

My embarrassing story makes me cringe to this day!
I was at university in one of my lectures. My group had to do a presentation at the front of the lecture theatre.
All was going really well until one of my friends dropped her notes, so I bent down to pick them up! As I bent down I broke wind!! Oh the shame! It snook out and was soooo loud it echoed around the theatre.
Everyone was trying not to laugh including the tutor.
    I can't believe it happened! :0S

Ive had many but the one that springs to mind was when i was about 14 and I was doing PE.
It was a mixed boy girl class and I fell over a hurdle and skidded across the floor.
My surname is Hurd and I was called Hurdles for months!!

I have many embarrassing stories but here are a few of them:

    1) when I was about 6 or 7, my teacher asked the class what we had in our heads. One of the boys whispered 'sawdust' and before I realised what he had said I repeated it out loud in front of the whole class lol. Everyone was in hysterics and I was soooo embarrassed!

    2) I sleep walk and sleep talk, especially when I am in unusual surroundings. When I was about 14 I was staying overnight at my friend's house and I sleep walked into her parents bedroom in the middle of the night and switched the light on!! I didn't know anything about it till the next morning when my friend's dad asked me if I had got lost on the way to the bathroom. I didn't know what he was talking about but when he told me what I had done, I started to have this vague (what I thought was a dream) recollection of being in their bedroom and them both sitting up in bed looking really startled lol. I was mortified!!!

    3) I once fell asleep on a coach and was woken by someone behind me sneezing - it made me jump and I screamed really loudly causing everyone around me to laugh!!

I was walking down a hill with my sister when she said two boys were laughing at us, I turned around and shouted at them.........and walked into a lamp post! Knocked myself for a couple of minutes, now that gave them more reason to laugh! Don't even know what they were laughing at in the first place :-| I can still feel the pain everytime I think about it!!

I have too many embarassing stories and most id rather not to admit too! the one that really makes me cringe to this day is when i worked in tesco's and they had the old popper dresses, went to get on my till and caught my dress on the plastic side part they used to have, it completely unpopped my uniform and i didn't realise until a customer told me. Oh yeah to making peoples days but sadly not my own, i ended up as red as the red on my dress lol
