Ok maybe im blowing this all out of proportion but just been watching series 2 Pippa and Tony and am angry beyond belief, I know its for a tv programme but if anyone has seen this episode they will remember the part where Tony goes to that grand house to enquire about their venue, the lady told him that a wedding there for what they wanted was £14,000, and then proceeded to ask him how much can you afford, well we all know he said £3,000, she asked if he wanted to make his bride happy and he said yes - of course, the part that got me , was when she said its not about the cost its about you being happy,whatever you can afford we will sort it!! what the hell!! this is a joke why dont we all go to our venues and say, well if it costs £14,000 we can only afford £3,000 but it will make us happy!! what do you think the reply will be, hmm apart from kicking us out the door I think it would be fuck off do you think we were born yesterday. Just wouldnt work. All of us Brides and Grooms work ruddy hard to afford the best wedding we can - regardless of the fact this is for television it is supposed to be factual apart from it being a programme about a real bride and groom etc. No one would be able to get that amount of money off their wedding, oh joy if we could.

Oh dear there's so much to say about what wasn't right with the vegas one.. lets start by saying that the way he decided on where to get married by going to a roulette table (choice was between vegas or proper English traditional wedding) it even got to the point that the Best Man picked out the dress she ABSOLUTLY fell in love with and the Groom went for something that was COMPLETELY what she didn't want.

I remember the Vegas one that was terrible, It had to have been staged as there is no way on earth any normal bride would go ahead with a wedding after their groom doing that, MrsH2be - That vegas groom was a complete pig, I wonder if they are both together still? Oh ladies did you see the catch up episode just after the royal wedding when they went back to find out if some of the newly-weds were still together, Laila and Nick - the bride and groom from Liverpool, she was a spoilt brat but the groom was besotted with her ended up getting a helicopter - They were married for 6 mths , sorry gotta laugh lol

i was watching the britain's best wedding venue and it had lusty glaze on it the bloke was like we dont charge venue hire as your paying for the food would be like charging you for sitting and eating it, i thought that sounds really good no venue fee for using the restaurant, so i rang them they charge £2750 for venue hire totally backtracked on what he said on the TV show, were going to have a look and mention it cos it false advertising

Sometimes I wonder if part of the screening process for applicants is 'How much is your husband to be involved?' and the girls who say 'Erm, he asked me to marry him and since then I've done EVERYTHING' are the ones that get picked... either that or they just pick selfish grooms. I, like a lot of others, am certain that a lot of it is staged but it was so obvious both she and all her family were absolutely devastated at what he'd done.
Oh and who decides on their wedding plans by BETTING on a roulette table?!?!?!?! IDIOT! It was such a blatant 'What she wants, or what ME ME ME wants' even when he tried to make out like he cared what she thought while walking around drinking, I'd love to know how much of their budget went on all the drinks he and his best man had and their hotel! And I didn't see if they got to that huge mansion for the reception or not (my internet is being awful atm) but can you imagine hiring a place like that for 6 people!!!?!?1?!?!? Especially when in the end they only had 4!

The program is a joke.... Why would any woman let there man arrange the wedding alone, its just one way of getting a wedding and not paying I think....
