When talking to venues ect, do i need to include myself and h2b? making it 81? And do i need to say i have 10 children coming? as that makes it 91 people.
As most the venues im looking at can only fit 80 people in.
I know this sounds like a daft question, but i know nothing about aranging a wedding!!

Yes definately you need to say you have 81 adults and 10 children. Also they may want to know if any of the children require a highchair. xx

Yeah we've included ourselves in the numbers, and we've marked any children under 10 to ask the caterer if we need to order separately for them or include them in the overall numbers, as well as babies who'll be less than 2 who will probably need a high chair but parents will bring their food etc :-)

Yes. You will all be taking up space/sitting down to eat/for the ceremony, so they do need to know the numbers inc children. The only possible exception might be babies, who won't be taking up a seat (though presumably you'd still need space for a pushchair/carry cot).
Our venue for the wedding breakfast seats up to 50 max; so we can have 48 guests.
they need to know the exact numbers including babies for insurance purposes e.g fire regulations so they know it is safe for everyone there.

you definitely need to include the children and yourselves in the count. Our package is for 40 guests, so that means we can only invite 38 plus ourselves xx

I did the exact same thing was so excited about going to look at the venue that I only gave the info about the guests it was Mike the venue manager who asked me if I had included myself, my H2B and our kids! I felt so silly but he soon put my mind at ease :)
Yep definitely tell them about the kids! Are you having a seated meal? Because if so they need to know what you want the kids to be served, how many highchairs, etc etc etc. Xx

Yep if you are getting married at the venue there's a strict number allowed - my venue holds 95 for the ceremony but this also includes the registrar and photographer. It's for insurance and fire regulations - I got told everything with a heart beat counts - also babes in arms. And regarding the kids - you might need to organise high char so that's important aswell.
It’s so great to find that one special person

Aw thank you for all your replys.
Oh i didnt know you had to include registrar and photographer aswell!
I found it hard enough to find a venue for 80! Now i need one for 93!! I better start looking at different venues then!
Thanks :)
