So I've not really been to many weddings and I'm confused whether I send seperate invites to the evening only guests? Or do I invite everyone to the day? If I send seperate ones, how do I word it? Do I still put our registry in?

If it's for the evening just put 'evening invitation' then from when it's from until to.

Yes you make it defined to day or evening guest... We are having only one set of guests we are not inviting anyone specifically for the night time... But it goes by your budget your venue allowance... Ect xx

We'll be doing the same, having a seperate evening invitation with the time, date, place etc and also time of first dance xxxx

You send full day invitations to those who you want all day (the ceremony, drinks reception, wedding breakfast and all evening), then evening only invites to those you're only asking to the party bit (usually from 7:30pm onwards including an evening buffet).

Thank you! Should I include the hotel details, registry, directions etc in the evening one?
CommentAuthorMrsEmmaP
Yes include everything you did on the day just obviously not the ceremony address and times etc :)

Definitely include the hotel details and directions I'd say, and possibly a list of nearby accommodation if people are coming from a distance - or getting drunk!! xxxx

A lot of people make their evening invitations a bit more basic but our day and evening invites were exactly the same apart from the time. Took a long time as we made them ourselves but it was what we wanted. X

I would send separate one at least then they know exactly what time are where instead of wondering is it all day, Just need to say you are invited to the evening do etc :) x

We will be sending evening invites out after we've had replies from all the day guests in case we need to bump anyone up to be a day guest if others can't attend. Def include local hotels or BnBs and any other details they might need. As we are not serving food in the evening we will need to tell evening guests to eat beforehand. X
