Hello :) I emailed a place that does cupcakes to order for any reason, but obviously I want them for my wedding! I asked if they do tasting, (obviously if I'm feeding 40 people cupcakes, I want to be sure they taste good!) and specified two flavours from their site I wanted to try. They replied saying the cupcakes start at £1.50 each, depending on decoration etc. And they don't have tasting because the cakes are made to order. They also do the top as a madiera, iced, for £30. Is the price OK? And do you think its worth ordering one cupcake each of a few flavours to try, at a cost of £1.50 each? Thanks, Rosi xx

hi hun i would defo order a few to try before you but just incase hun sound lovely tho and i think there reasonably priced however i was in a wholesalers today and if you were wanting chocolate or white cupcakes with things on the top they were £12.00 for a box of 16 and they were massive like i would have halfed one between two people im thinking i mite do this too it cost you join the well known warehouse begining with C and ending in O but they are scrummielisious i tell u xxx

Hello hun .... I would order some to taste before you make a big order YES! I know £1.50 sounds expensive but less expensive than ordering 40 and they taste like poo! I think £1.50 is cheap, as I have priced up cupcakes and the dearest was £7.50 EACH OMG! Most places charge about £3.50/£4.50, so I think you have a bargain. Have simple decoration on them and if you want them to look more special you could order some cupcake wrappers which come in all shades, colours and themes. I am making my own cupcakes for my wedding so I have done my homework! lol If you need any help please ask me x

yep thats sounds about right babe the women i get all my cakes from (birthdays etc)charges the same and shes fantastic. Shes only had her own business for just under 2 years but wow her work is amazing (she did my sons christening tower and it was £18 for 12 large cupcakes, £12 for 12 mini and £25 for the top cake......well worth it in my opinion :-) And i say def order some to try but you might not be able to get 1 of each if they are made to order as she'll have to make up a batch so maybe 4 of each??? Luckily my lady brought samples for me to try as she was doing the flavour for another order and just put the dec i wanted on top for me to see.
