    Hi girls,

Im getting very close to having sorted everything but theres a few wee odds and ends to sort out.

Firstly, my nephew is the only child at the wedding. He is 9 years old and obsessed with his ipad (dont get me started.....) so we thought we'd get him an itunes voucher (or whatever it is) to buy games. However I would like to do him his own place name and favour bag thats different from everyone else. Our place settings are quite grown up and I dont think my nephew would appreciate it lol. What could I do for him, to make it a bit special for him?

Secondly, we have finished sorting our ceremony and venue details but we have just one reading to chose for the ceremony. So after searching about we have thought about having someone read the lyrics to 'When I'm 64'. We are massive Beatles fans and our table names are Beatles albums, so we wanted to involve them in the ceremony in some way :-) Is anyone else doing this? I thought it might be quite light hearted to have someone reading the lyrics William Shatner style hahaha (maybe not quite as cheesy as his version of rocketman....)

Any help much appreciated and thanks in advance :-)

He's 9 years old and has an ipad??? lol.
I think he'd like the favour bags as they're made out of sheet music aren't they? So they're cool. Are your place settings the flowers with the wooden heart? They are gorgeous but i know what you mean about a 9 year old not appreciating it... hmm. I'd still have the wooden heart but maybe something else instead of the flowers, but i can't think what. Is there anything else he likes?
Also, i think it'd be adorable to have someone reading 'When i'm 64', you should go for it :)

That could work! I could attach it to something he would like. Maybe some kind of action figure type thing. I know I couldnt believe it when she bought him an ipad. He is never off it. If he was my boy then things would be different! lol.

He used to be into wrestling figures, then it was those mooshi things and I dont know what his latest fad is.....Maybe I could go for something that all kids like....man I have no idea whats "cool" at the moment.

I read through the lyrics and its quite a poetic song. Plus my paul wrote it and he is my favourite :-) I really love the idea now. I said it as a bit of a joke last night and H2B said today he liked the idea :-)

I was shocked when i read it lol i'd never buy an ipad for a 9 year old!
I don't know what's cool to boys...maybe your h2b would know? Or ask his mum what he likes. I think it'd be great to attach his place card to an action figure or something :)
I love the idea, i think it'd be so cute and it is a great song. And it's personal to you as you love the Beatles and it'll fit in with your table nameds etc. xxx

Yeah, I'll need to do my research. Its annoying cos the fad seems to change every 2 weeks haha. I once bought him something for xmas that he asked for and by the time it got to xmas day, it had gone out of fashion lol! I'll find out from his mum what he is into just now :-)

Why cant kids just be into batman or superman or easy stuff like that! lol
