I've just remembered so etching my wedding planner said at one of our earlier meeting to get confetti the same colour as my dress so it doesn't run if. Gets wet and ruin the dress. Has anyone heard of this
Now I'm not sure if I want confetti or not as we are getting married on the hotel grounds but IF we do go for it where is the best place to get it from, I've seen little boxes in a card shop local is this sufficient .
Do we provide the confetti or will guests bring their own?

most weddings i have been to people bring there own little boxes of confettii, but we are buying fresh flower petals for confetti, so that they can blow off into the countryside and compost down and not become a eyesore.

We bought some and I'm glad we did, as most guests didn't bring any, and we really wanted a confetti shot :-/

im liking the petal ides or bubbles. as confetti can only be thrown at the end of path from our church, petals or bubbles could be done closer to the steps.. most guests bring their own i think tho??
We bought all of our confetti from the bay of e. I imagined it could run with rain, sweat etc, so I just made sure I got all of the pink bits out from my dress

I've never heard of that before, thats a worrying thought isn't it! I might have to look into getting my own for guests now lol. The last 2 weddings I've been to - the first I had it and they didn't want a confetti sot, so was a waste of time; and the 2nd I forgot to take it and everyone else had some ha

I must admit it's an annoying expense (cost me about £20), for bits of coloured paper that gets thrown in the air. On the plus side, it was really effective in the throwing of the confetti photo's

I really want a confetti shot, and have considered making our own from the pages of old comics we have already used for other wedding crafts - but this is the second thing I've seen today talking about run off so now I'm second guessing it :(. Such a shame as I really like the idea! x

I had lots of pink in mine, and there was no staining at all. Just made sure I got it off my dress afterwards

I've decided that I'm going for the confetti shot with handmade comic book confetti. I'm going to ask my BM's to help me get the excess off my dress after the photos x
