Sound lime a nice weekend Michelle. I'm in tired. Had a busy and looking day yesterday but was productive. Bestie and i went shipping up the west end and managed to get her wedding undies and garter. Then her h2b and my hubby and is two all went out for Indian for dinner. Service was very slow but food was delish.

Quite pleased. This morning I've got the laundry on, all the towels needed changing. Also got chicken on for dinner in the slow cooker, nice whole chicken should taste yummy. Dishwasher on and kitchen clean.

Quiet on here today. Hope everyone is having a good day and getting lots of wedding things sorted out.
I popped out earlier with hubby to look at the worlds oldest wooden church as it's not far from where we live. It's so pretty. Found a lovely homemade wedding card in their tiny mini gift store at the back of the church which i bought for my bestie's wedding in September. It's a one off unique card which i love rather than a shop bought one

Shopping trip wasn't successful. I returned the dress I got for my birthday but noting in the shop I liked so I have a gift card Didn't find any wedding undies in there I'll or at all. That's where I was expecting to get it from. Will take another search. I think I may have my wedding perfume sorted.. coco madmoisele. Not 100% sold on it yet though so didn't get it. Waste of time really...

We celebrated it being one year since OH proposed yesterday by a day out a Twycr055 z00 and then we have found the potential house we want to buy on a new build development so I will be starting the process on that shortly....any tips we are first time buyers??

Hey all,
Can't believe how fast May has come around! Stacey - we are also looking to buy our first home together after the wedding. So would be good to hear people's tips! We will be cash buyers and I've no idea wether to get a small mortgage so we can put a bit of cash to the side. My mother has suggested to see a financial advisor so maybe we will do that in a few weeks. Hopefully people with knowledge will be able to advise us first time buyers!
We have just started packing! 5 days until we fly. The weather is looking HOT - bit worried about how I'll cope in my dress! Forecast is 29 degrees! Hopefully I'll be too excited to even think about the heat lol!

Afternoon all
Finished nights now thankfully. Was my son's 14th birthday yesterday so I got up early to spend time after he got home from school, we then went out for a meal with my sister and my parents as it was my sister's birthday as well. Went to work very tired. It was a blessing when the day staff walked in this morning,
Picked up a courtesy car yesterday, it's brand new and nobody has had it before, they'd only just picked it up and brought it over. However the stereo/sat nav does not work on it, so called the up today to let them know. I googled it last night and it appears it may be a fault,

I got a call from work earlier asking if I could work. I said as long as they pay me I will instead of it being time owing, they said they'd pay me, so off to work, even though hubby moaned saying anyone would think you didn't want to be here!

Well today I work I had a bit of a strop at my manager as I work 1 Saturday a month to run the recruitment days- it's hard work and a long day as I am in at 7am and non stop with no break until 3pm- I also do a couple of hours extra in the week before to prep- it used to go through as time and a half but now it goes down as a bank shift as it all come from the bamk budget now- I negotiated a higher bank rate but got paid yesterday For last might and now tax code messed up as classed as 2nd job and £30 down from usual- proper spat dummy out and said I do this for the money not out of goodness of own heart- but worked hard to get the day to perfection and now you've mucked it all up as you are paying on the bank which is much less money and all my staff are not nit going to do it and neither will eye- suddenly have a meeting about it first thing in morning.,,,

Update on my illness.. I have been referred to a gastro consultant at the hospital. Hopefully will get an urgent appointment. I am going to try and see if i can skip the first appointment and get tests done straight away :( Really tough at the min but hopefully will get it sorted.

Well after almost two weeks, I get a call to say that the person who hit me is it accepting liability, so I now have to pay my excess, risk losing some no claims, and have an increase in premiums. All I can hope is that the cctv is available and proves exactly what she done. I spoke with the police for advise where she drove off, they've said that it sounds like the insurance is doing the right things, it's good I have legal cover as well, and if the cctv is available, and they are found to be lying they will be in serious trouble which will become a legal matter. Knowing the way my luck is going, it won't be available, I will be down on money. Thing is, I think if it was down to her, she'd admit it like she did when she stopped, but it's her husband. He could end up getting her in serious trouble just become he is a Richard head.

How did meeting go Michelle? I know the feeling of being fed up with work. I was in office until 7pm again lastnight. Of course there will be no gratitude for it. I don't get anything for the extra hours, no extra money and no tine to actually take TOIL.

I couldn't believe it yesterday, instead of checking they sent a text to everyone who was not working today or yesterday asking if they wanted to do a night, I replied saying I'd already done four nights this week and start another three on Sunday so nope. I know it was only sent out to everyone, but they could at least checked to see what had been worked, especially as I done Thursday as extra.

By tummy has been awful today. OH wouldn't let me go shopping on my own. It's been lovely having him home all weekend. Makes me feel like we're a proper couple again.
