    Hi ladies,

I was recommended Chocolate Banana slimming pills by a friend the other week so though I would give them a go. They claim to allow you to lose weight whilst gaining energy. I'm a bit sceptical about these kind of claims but oh my goodness they are amazing. You can take between 1 and 4 a day (you split your dose in two) and I started on 1 a day but now taking 2 a day and I can see the difference in me already. I haven't weighed myself but I feel a huge difference in me, my skin is glowing and I have a ton of exrta energy. I know these pills aren't wonder cures and people need to be careful taking them but as long as you're sensible then why not? If you girls are interested then you can get them from the bay or just google search the product name. x

Unfortunately not hun and they smell a bit like vinegar. lol. They do take a couple of days to kick in but my appetite has gone done a ridiculous amount. I have read all the reviews and one major "side effect" was headaches which were most probably caused by people undereating and not drinking enough. I'm not using them long term but I wanted a wee boost to my weight loss. I may just have to get a set of scales to see how much I actually have lost. xxx

I got them straight from the company for £12 (30 tablets) but you can get them from the bay as well. If you search Cocolate bananas then you'll hit the website straight away and you can read reviews and all the other important information. xxx

What serious side effects did you read Mrs C as I didn't see anything quite so bad, maybe i've overlooked them.
Wee Mindy I wouldn't have dared taking 4 a day, I was tempted but decided against it. I've not felt any of those symptoms as of yet but as soon as I do then they'll be binned. lol. xxx

The common Chocolate Banana Sida side effects are nausea, increased heart rate, increased blood pressure, ringing in the ears, ulcers, stomach burning, pain, cramping, gastrointestinal bleeding and liver toxicity, rash, dizziness, and kidney impairment.

I've just found that page too Mrs C but have read the other reviews below and it seems that some folk are effected where others dont. I guess it'll be the same for all drugs of sorts. The GI bleeding puzzles me but I can understand the rest of the side effects as these would be related to increased metabolism. I've had a check of all the ingredients and don't know of any that would have any negative interactions with me (I'm a biopharmaceutical scientist so found this easy enough to check but you can't be too careful with pills like these, especially if you're taking other meds). I suppose if anyone wants to try these then please be careful and check they won't interact with anything else you are taking. xxx

Could be but this is currently doing the trick for me and a little bit more self confidence is worth a lot. I have been overweight all my life and I know dieting is the healthy option but yo-yo dieting (which is what I've been prone to) is just as detrimental to the body. This is a very short term thing for me to boost my weight loss and give myself a little bit of confidence to keep going so if it's working for me I don't mind the possible side effects and little bit of money i've spent (£12).

If only God had given me my Mother's genes then i'd be fine, lol. xxx

If they are working for you, then that's great. As long as you're sensible and if you notice any side effects then you stop, I don't see the harm. But just be careful - I've always found that just sticking to a calorie controlled diet plan and exercising have been a good way to lose weight and keep it off (though when you stop, it does come back on quick.) xx

I am doind exactly that hun, everyone at the office and my other half all know I'm on them so if they notice a change that maybe I'm ignoring, they can tell me and I can get rid of them. Calorie controlled diets are the best way to lose weight, I would never ever dispute that, and I lost a lot of weight on Scottish Slimmers. I left the class and put most, if not all, of it back on. I realise I need the motivation of a class to help me so when I moved to another part of Scotland I was a bit disappointed that there wasn't a Scottish Slimmers class that I could attend :( I joined Slimming World instead and although it has worked, it hasn't worked as well as my first diet and it doesn't really suit me. I said I would continue to go to SW class but follow my own diet which again worked, but the class no no longer runs :( We'll be moving house again soon so I must make sure there is a diet group I can join before I sign the lease. lol.

Kimmy they really aren't suited for everyone but its good you know you can't take them before you bought them. xxx

Hi I am doing the paul kckenna i can make you thin its really easy to read the book then listed to the cd every day which take 25-30 mintes its great it has really helped me gain more confindece and i losing weight i feel alot active i woud recomened it to anyone It works on the basis of what he calls the four simple rolls
    1 Eat when your hungry
2 Eat slowly and concusly enjoying evey bite
3 Eat what ever you want ( i know this sounds mad but listening to the cd helps you to chose the healthier foods I cant explain it but if you try it you will know whay i mean)
4 Stop when you start to feel full

I know most people reading this will think that will never work but listening to the cd (its call the mind programing) teaches you o relax and belive in yourself to make the right decisons where food is concerned and it teaches you to listen more to your body as i said i was like that will never work till i tried it no i have lost over 4stone my mum has lost 3stone and my sister has lost nearly 3 stone all one it so i would highly recommend it to any one and its is a one of cost of around £10 for the book with the cd in it its cheaper than slimming pills with no unwanted side affects x

Huge well done on the weight loss, I bet you feel amazing. Did you incorporate exercise into it as well? xxx

ok, i ordered a tester pack of these after reading this the other day. it says they contain the following:

    Cha De Burgre
    Caffeine (190mg)
    Naringun

Cha De Burgre - a natural dieretic and caffeine like substance. In Brazil its sometimes used as a substitute to coffee.
Caffeine - well we all know what that is, but 190mg is pretty high!
Naringun - well this one is worrying as it doesnt even seem to be a real thing? Its believed it is a mis-spelling of Naringin. Which helps you absorb other drugs quickly. IE the Caffiene and Cha De Burgre in the tablet you have just taken!

I can now see why it says not to take after 3pm, cause you would never get to sleep!

So I have decided to take one of these in the morning to give me a wake-up boost. Cause thats really all they are, energy pills. And drink LOADS of water or you will end up completely dehydrated, which is what makes the scales say you are lighter.

I'm on nightshift this weekend, so they are gonna be great for that! Although pro-plus would do the same thing, only cheaper.
